anyone who thinks the canna business isnt personal pref .. then why is it that we even pheno hunt? why do some growing elite clones.. toss them out saying its just not there cup of tea.. ? why do some of us like that rotten meat nasty musky smell.. and others hate it.? what about CATPISS? some love that smell of catpiss haze .. or others hate it.. some like bho some like bubble hash. some like dry sift better.. i mean really its all about what the grower likes or wants. wether its wanting huge harvests of decent buds.. or a smaller harvest of the best of the best.. its all chosen by the grower. meaning its a choice.. and "PERSONAL PREF" plays a huge role in most gardens. especially when 90% of growers.. smoke there own product.. so of course there going to pick shit THEY LIKE..

i wasnt saying that anything is better then this or that. im just stating the facts.. that some use power5.. some capital n butane.. and in the end.. if made properly.. i bet 75% of smokers.. couldnt tell the difference.

Dabs, are you using the CalNitrate from Jacks? Was pokin around online and found a couple other sources of CalNitrate and they are quite a bit cheaper.....

Yea I use the Jacks. As previously mentioned, 100$ for 15,000 gallons worth. Thats cheap enough for me.

some people think n butane extracts taste isnt as good as some of the mixed stuff.. thats all.. i personally cant afford a closed loop system right now.. and i dont make enough oil to make it worth it.. but id like to clear the air.. i dont have an issue with anyones way of doing things.. everyone does things different. were human.. lol.. i wish you the best of luck with everything.. and hope to continue to learn from this site .

also if you dont mind me asking.. which jacks is everyone that grows canna using? i looked up jacks to buy some to do a Side by Side. and see how it really is. i hear great things but havent tried it .

Don't worry bro, my 10-30-20 tests are not finished, and I will be going that route in my flower room that is in its first week. I have to do something with the 50# bag of booster haha. After flower set, I will switch over to the booster to finish.
This round with the standard mix will have some personal chart busters. My DHOG is frostier than I have ever seen it, and my SLH will likely break 25%. Hard to fuck with what works, but I have faith lol

Ebb and Grow, with Hydroton. I use 10-12 Tbsp of each per 60 gal tank, depending on varying harness of my tap water. Switching back to RO soon.

holy shit! now THATS a wall of nugs! Just got my Jacks and Cal Nit yesterday and made quart stock solutions! Chopping down my Romulan Diesel currently and next round will be Jacks + CalNit only....cant wait to see the results

Cal Nitrate is to the right. That stuff dissolved pretty damn quick, but the Jacks took some shaking. I used the Ichabod's instructions for mixing stock solution

"So 145 grams of calcium nitrate in a jug topped off to a quart with RO water. And 220 grams of Jack's 5-12-26 in a jug topped off to a quart with RO water. Then use 10 ml of each per gallon of you nute solution."

I am working on my second 50# bag of Calcium Nitrate, and it has been blue. The point of the dye is to know when you have added "Part B"...

Arminius, what color does your Jacks come out to? Ive read alot of threads about it being blue, however mine is on the left and has a slight yellow color to it.

could be the fact that the solution is HIGHLY concentrated beings its a stock solution
