Cut stem white substance

I was curious if any growers have had a thick white milky substance build up at the "cut" zone where a branch has been cut from the stalk? Is this strain specific? Please and thankyou!

Did you also notice any excess adventitious roots or white dimples going up the stalk? Other symptoms? There is a type of bacteria... I think I've seen this.
