The has been answered numerous times in many threads It isn't instantaneous. You must wait a couple mins-couple hours for the counter to reset and realize you are at 50 posts.

Those who attempt to circumvent the minimum post count by turbo posting, or making posts with no worthwhile contribution, will have their posts deleted and/or the post count of the turbo poster reset to 0 by admin as a warning. Just a suggestion but would it not be possible to sort something out that when a new member logs in for the first time they get an automated PM explaining the whole 50 post count thing?

Reason new members ask these type of questions is that everybody ignores the TOU and just scrolls down to the agree box.
Send them a PM when they log in and there is a much higher chance they will actually read it.

They'd be as likely to read that as they are to read the TOU they are asked to read before checking the checkbox saying they read it. Even if they did read it they'd forget by 50 and come asking the same question again....

I disagree, when people join any website they tend to just tick the TOU box without reading, more often than not they do read or at least click on the welcome message.

I can almost guarantee you a simple thing like that would cut down on the "how do I" posts.
