I'm a liar... Temps shoot up again tomorrow, so they came down at 65... I'll live with that. First pheno, slower to start. Round buds. Smell is very musky, sweet, skunk. Stronger stems. Medium yield. Both are nice and frosty
Leaning a bit more to the casey side... Cola is quite a bit heat stressed... Fell over the second to last day, and hung out 3" from the 400w bulb for a bit. My fault... Ran her right next to my casey jones cut from head's gear, and both my white jones didn't show any intersex traits, while casey tossed a few sterile nanners like always. Very pleased with this
Smells very similar to my cut, bit more fruity aspect.... So petrol, skunk, hawaiian punch.... Very funky, absolutely love this smell. Bit more resin down the bud leaves as well.
Both phenos will get run again...
Hey disco, that's how I always harvest too... Pheno 2, aka the casey leaning one stinks to high heaven... Much like my h3ad casey with a bit more sweetness to her. Killer
Hey ojd, wouldn't be possible without the work you and true put into the beans. Definitely very happy with my results and I haven't even smoked it yet!!
Thanks for the kind words, and hang onto a pack of the new ogchem for me!!
I got some of these, supposed to
Be in my next rodeo. Excellent!!! Looks like it yields heavy like casey. CJ is one of, if not THE highest yielding strains per watt I've grown w/o SERIOUS vegging. Nice headies. Nice grow.
Lou here with some shots and a report on the casey leaning pheno... AKA The White Jones #2. She could have gone a bit longer, but I was battling heat, and the temps shot up in the days after the harvest, so it was a little early, or a little burnt... She will certainly be run again and outcrossed to a few males
Some shots first
And the smoke report
Appearance 7.5/10
Small calyxs. Looser buds that culminate in frosty foxtails. A relatively easy trim with a high calyx/leaf with ample resin on both the leaves and buds. Yields very nicely with few larfy nugs, and most ‘connoisseur’ quality
Smells 9/10
Spot on casey. A weird sweet and sour funk, with a side of fuel. Slightly sweeter than my casey cut, but the smell is unmistakable. Quite pungent, especially when the buds are disturbed which brings out the sweeter smell more intensely.
Taste 8.5/10
Surprisingly smooth. Very nice and easy on my lungs without much expansion and threat of coughing. Taste is a pleasant nutty hash.
High 8.5/10
By the second hit, a nice warm fuzz settled behind my eyes, making them feel heavy and I can only imagine droopy. Mostly cerebral, aside from the droopy eyes, as I quickly catch myself distracted by anything and everything. A bit of a space cadet feel while my mind races between topics… Stream of consciousness style. 4 hits, and I want to pack another bowl, so please give me a second….
Yes, clearly a cerebral bit of ganj. Easily amused, and easily distracted. An energetic and happy high as it continues, and I toke a bit more. A nice body tingle, but certainly not a body high. Could just be the energetic high manifesting itself as twitches and energy to the extremities. Very pleasant, without paranoia nor anxiety.
Potency 7/10
2 bowls and I could keep going, but I am most certainly blazed. Granted my tolerance is not the lowest…
Overall
A great herb that will certainly get the chance again to shine properly. Fantastic taste and smell, with a great happy and energetic high. A little more potency wouldn't hurt, but that could be due to my 64 day chop... All in all I'm very pleased. I did end up finding a few male flower clusters on lower nodes, but no more than a handful that could very well be explained away by the heat, and nothing I haven't seen casey do before.
Big thanks to ojd and true for the chance to grow out and test these beans.
Thanks ojd, she is sure is a pleasure to smoke, that is for sure, and only to get better as the cure goes on!
I'd be more than happy to test for ya again, as this was quite the pleasant experience. Got your new ogchem on the way, and sour d lines sound pretty fucking awesome!!
Good vibes to you and true on your projects! Sounds dankalicious
