This is the early point where I water only the RW cube. Keep the cube from drying out while roots spread down
I usually leave about 20% of the cube above the coco also to avoid drowning them with the first water, and just keep the cube wet until I see dryness in the coco.

Good luck here we go.

Also no joke try the aqua flakes next time. It works better not just saying that. Also it's meant for recirculating systems, so I noticed it was stable for longer (ph) after mixed. Better nutrient profile is best I can describe. IMO way preferred when I did the side by sides when I switched I bought both coco and AF.

I'm strapped in see what u can do.

I got several looks like 6oz gg5 in less than 2 gal coco. Expect big yield from established small containers.

Here's to frosty fat yields cheers

That's what I did but I guess I didn't give enough though. I was going to get the aquaflakes and the rep told me to go with the coco but maybe ill pick up some to compare. I'm just praying I get something to smoke aha think I should change the title of this thread to teach crop how to coco.

Coco is easy peasy, let the roots establish for 7 to 10 days, then feed every day with 20 % runoff. Keep you ppms 700 or so. Not to high. You also need to make sure you have a few good pairs of scissors to trim the mountain of buds

I hope so easy peasy sounds nice aha. Speaking of trimming was giving them their last watering and accidently knocked a animal branch off so I got an early sample drying up.

it takes a little bit to get the swing of feeding transplants & seedlings in coco . but once you do it becomes second nature . the easiest way i can say it is treat transplants & seedlings like they were in an inert soil . the roots need the food , but they also need that barely dry cycle so the roots grow out looking for water/food .

i like to bottom feed younguns , i put them in a flat & put about a half inch of water/food in the tray & let them soak it up . i doo that for a week or 10 days till i see roots coming out of the bottom of the cups or small pots . then i know that i can feed them to runoff & it won't smother the root zone .

How's the babes doin

Still alive and actually growing aha. Had roots popping out the container on Sunday. Very noticeable growth it amazes me every time the light comes on. The growth that I'm getting in 1 day in coco would take 3 days in soil easily. Still trying to get used to the watering, they aren't drying out as fast as I thought they would. Fed them the 15th and just gave them another last night 19th. Does that sound about right to you guys?

Yeah once or twice a week for two weeks then it ramps up. I keep them wet after that. No runoff for me. As lil as possible anyway.

yup , every 3 or 4 days for a couple weeks . depends on the temps & RH in the room as to how fast they'll dry out more so than them eating in those couple weeks .
