Roots707 literally comes with fungus gnats inside the bag. I barely have them because i use gnatrol on a regular basis and most of what i do is in rockwool. But every time i get a new bag they make an appearance. I love that soil though. Regardless i do think the cups i used were too big. Dr i for sure always perforate the bottom of the cups so they drain very well. Ive had bad luck when i would use starter plugs or small amounts of soil. Im thinking next time im going to mix half and half soil and coco and find smaller cups. I just dont understand why my success rates were so much higher with the sour power/starbud sis x biker testers. I did everything exactly the same. I dunno, feel like garbage about it. I get this special opportunity and fucked shit up. Hopefully i can show off some beautiful girls later and look back on this and feel ok with it.

Doing quite well thanks ga. A few speed bumps of life but i think ill be okay. Losing a few seedlings is nothing compared to some of the shit ive had on my docket. But i am really looking forward to free cold air this winter and im feeling blessed in my garden. Heres a few recent photos of two diff ogs ive been running with amazing success in dwc

Yeah the gg seems to love my dwc setup a lot. Everything does, but gg is insane in there. Im looking forward to running my karma/horti testers in it as well as the karma og. Gonna be a trayload of karma goodness soon enough!

What kind of dwc system are you running?

Haha a janky one. But it works really well. I used to run flood and drain tables. 4x8 trays, rockwool, fed from 70 gallon res. To make it into a dwc, i constantly flood the tray, added multiflow pumps that go between each slab of rockwool and i added air stones. Since doing this growth rates have gone insane and if i wanted to i could literally shave a week off of my harvest times. In standard flood and drain(which i still run minimally) they grow well just slower and slightly less dense. Ill look for some good photos that help explain this hold on.

Yes, it pulls water up from underneath and pushes it forward instead of up into a tube like standard ones you use to flood with. They are cheap pieces of shit but if you keep them clean they can last.

very interesting setup Crooked... They are kind of like smaller sized mud suckers you get at the hardware stores..
Looks like you are forcing a shit load of oxygen into you system!

It maintains cleanliness really well since everything is moving. My flowering room seriously sounds like multiple rivers flowing fast. Using drip clean keeps it all really clean. After each run, i harvest, then i add a gallon or so of oxygenator to the res once plants are removed which cleans and sanitizes everything. This also kills anything left in the slabs like gnats or whathaveyou. I drain it all, get all the old rockwool out put new slabs in and im good to go. Its kicking ass. Literally tons of oxygen. I modified all the pumps so they have a tiny attachment on the front with an opening. I put a tiny bit of air hose on each one so its above the water. It pulls air into the actual stream of forced water and increases the speed of the flow. I also have 4 large air stones in the tray and i also have air stones in the res. Anything that hits my tables grows well. Im lucky i was taught how to do this and id never go back.

All 6 seedlings are doing well. I have one runt but its healthy. The others are getting bigger and im glad
