In my book = best flavor, best flower is the cut i want. Everyone knows when you s1 a strain it gets waterdown in flavor. I promise you try triangle Kush and you try Crippy the flavor and smell alone will tell you which is the original. That is probably very true, I have always stayed away from Forums and have very limited knowledge of IC. My bad for grouping everyone. Just seems alot more trolls on forums but I just need to be selective of who I respond to.

There's really no need to compare IC to IG. Neither is "better".

How come the story only comes out now? A year ago on your instagram, all you talked about was Sour D...surely a cut as highly regarded as the Grandmother of all OG's would be the center of any ones garden/instagram feed.
Did your father pass the cut to you in 2007 or did Bummer Steve somehow hang on to it for nearly 30 years between all those surf trips? Or did he pass it to someone on the mainland and you got it back from them? How did the strain come in to your hands?

very interesting. have you considered contributing to the og kush genome project? if you arent bullshitting and this is the earliest or dankest og out there, it could be a real eye opener to put it in the study.

what i understood from chemotyping.. is.. you can get the entire profile of the terpenes and levels of cannabinoids.. and make a profile.. that you can then refer to later..
i read an article.. ill try to find it.. but. it was saying how the police.. were linking certain bud.. to specific growers.. based on chemotyping.. and they are able to see about were the weed originated at.. based on were the most of it is being found.. and bought.
but ya. genotyping and chemotyping are the 2 ways that you can figure out what the strain is.. or what it came from..
i think both together.. would provide a better result.. honestly. but i dont know im not a researcher lol.. i just like to read and learn.

i was just under the impression.. that anything being accessed by a cellphone was less secure then a wired internet connection ..
mitch and adam are on the quest to get every early og kush strain genome tested to see which ones are the same and which ones are s1 of which ones and parents or progeny detected. so for instance they would be able to tell if this was a sibling parent offspring , cousin, s1, or perhaps the same exact cutting as say triangle for example. its a interesting project and i know there are some detractors but facts is facts and the data would be interesting. i just wish with they would make available the data so that others could have it tested at whatever lab was available ad verify independently their cuts. i think they are trying to avoid put info into the hads of capitalists who would try to trademark the different genomic markers as thier own. they have been predicting that from the 20 or so selected and (to the best of their ability) verified clone only og kushes used in the study that they will find that there are actually only 5-6 different clones re named and called different cuts. you should let them include this one in the study. if you are right, all squabbling and flames aside youd be part of history and able to help uncover some of the mystery and some of the bullshit surrounding the origins of the cut. that or it will only make the puzzle more complicated.lol

i'm pretty sure is was police anti cannabis scare tactics..no proof or anything,but i cant see local police departments with that much spare cash...

trouble with these strains they were hoarded,S1's random crosses are what follows before you know it,there's a million OG's/diesel/GSC's cuts.....
