Crinkled leaves

These plants are 4 weeks old and growing under 1 daylight fluro and 1 full spectrum fluro. The water run off is 6.0 and using FF Grow Big with water PH adjusted to 6.0. These 2 plants are from JoJo seed mix from OG. I'm forgot the combination of seeds in this mix. I beleive it has Venomberry, Chocolate Trip and a few others. If anyone knows please inform.

This one growing well, but just started to showing weird leaf grow.

This one has the curved leaves from day one.

JoJo seed experts help or anyone else that may have any thoughts. More pictures in Gallery.

For one the ph looks like it is off; 2 How much grow big did you use on them and how often?

3 the bigger ones need to be taken out of those cups and put into a pot because they are rootbound.

What soil mixture are you using?

The larger one is feed FF Grow Big 1/2 tsp per gallon, once every 3 watering. The smaller one is on straight H2O. This one started with the 2 curved leaves, then 3 weeks later formed the new growth. Very weird growth pattern, hard to beilve these plants are the same age. If it is fert burn wouldn't the leaves tip show signs on the lower leaves?

This is the only leaf showing begining signs.

The soil mixture is seed starter mix and mixed with perlite. PH adjusted with lime for 6 months then used. PH around 6.8 and watered with 6.0.

The one with the twisted leaves is a mutation that happens; what brand of seed starter mixture is it; it's obviously to strong for the plants.

Fert bern can happen on the lower leaves but can also be seen else where, also how often were you watering your seedlings?

Does this soil mixture have pre ferts in it? cause the seedlings soil looks very wet and that looks to be to much for the seedling because when you have cups like that you do not want to fill them up because when they are that size they just need water that is around them; so when you fill the cup with water water sits in the bottom of the cup with or without holes and makes the soil up top moist to much for the seedling to absorb because it's root system is not big.

You got holes in those cups right?

The big one I would get out of that cup it's rootbound and will show issues as if it was hungry because the roots are crowded; get that plant into it's own pot.

Also did you add lime or did it come in with the soil mixture?

This makes a big difference

These were just watered seconds before the picture. They are watered when the cup are very light in weight. Yes, the cups have holes and the soil is from Schultz that was used in C99 grow 4 years prior. I keep the used dirt in the woods and let mother nature flush. I do add lime to adjust as it decomposes the old growth matter. I have a new bag of FF OF and Promix BX. They need mixed with Hydrofarm chunky perlite before use. Would you use this mix? If the old soil is to hot I know the FF mix will zap them.

I would not mix a soiless mixture with soil because the ph's are different and you will have a battle the entire grow.

I would use one or the other....
As for the seedlings..... not to mention schultz is a bad brand for cannabis. REusing soil from outside is a risk a huge risk; not only does it have less nutes because it got rained on; also you don't know how much is left after your other plants removed from the soil.

Also you risk letting bugs live in the soil and bringing them into your new grow.

Your seedlings look like it's got whats called Damping off it's caused from a fungus and or over watering.
With your soil mixture being outside you invited fungus and other bacteria in the soil.

I would not reuse the mixture I would get rid of it and get new; as for the other big plant get it in it's own pot and feed weekly 1 tsp per gallon but if you use FFOF now you won't need to feed for 3 weeks.

I would dilute it with some other soil just a little just in case that strain can't take a lot of nutrients.

If you use Pro mix your ph needs to be 5.5 to 6.3

Where if you use ocean forest you need ph 6.5 to 7.0

as for the other seedling; looks like a mutation ;if it lives it will grow out normally or should anyways.

ph can also cause twisting of the leaves.

You say it's 6 which is acidic; you should add more lime to the mixture if you still want to use it; but I would not use the soil.

How much lime did you add? Did you add lime to it since you started to reuse the soil?

What water are you using? and what are you using to test ph with?
Are you testing the run off water?

I'm using tap water after it was set for a few days. The run off was measured by a aquarium test kit at 6.0PH. I will repot the larger one tonight with the new FF OF and perlite. This will hopefully change things soon. Does anyone know what strain JoJo seed mix has in it from '04 purchased from OG.
