Hey all! California Medical Patient here, my first card was from a shoddy doctor and got taken away mid way through the year, now i have one from a real licensed physician and i'm really excited to start growing my own medication. :smokeit:

:watchplant: Larry has been under a 400w HPS for a week then MH for 2 weeks in a 3x3x6.5 tent. i'll be using that for flowering and a bit of vegging for each round until i get a veg chamber squared away and can run a perpetual.. Pulled the top of her down and separated the sides so each growth reaches for the sky! topped her along the way, hopefully she doesnt have too many? super cropped each limb and the stress from pulling her top down seemed the super crop the main trunk. Fed nutrients twice since i've had her, watered 5 times? she's taken to it reall well, this strain is nice to grow. :joint:

:watchplant: the seeds were started around 6 or 7 days ago and they're growing great in that little mylar chamber i made. theres a tiny bit of spider mites but i think that came in the the store bought soil that i got... :\ anyways i ordered some neem and got some companion plants to put along side my grow (herbs i'll love to cook with anyway.) to deter them, i've read it can be quite effective and seen it in action in outdoor soil, i hope separate containers won't be the Achilles heel and allow these little basties to live!

Any tips / comments / critiques welcomed, cheers all.:tiphat:

Looking good mate. I hope you can rid the girls of the dreaded creatures!

Are they just regular light bulbs in the first pic?

Just herbs / vegetables out in the back.... I thought there was some special attribute needed that i didn't have that it would take to grow weed, that's why i didn't get into it earlier... regret that!

yo how's it going java, i use dill and chives. i had a bit of spider mites back two weeks ago but i guess they hitched up and left. i ordered floromite sc because i was scared of losing my plants -- it's still sitting here on my desk. might hit them before flower as a precaution but it's not needed.

cheers.:watchplant:

Hey CC,

I cannot blame you for being proactive....."the borg" are scary.

I found here that there is another type as well that is not as immediately devastating,
but seems to be even harder to eradicate, "broad mites". Brrr!

Keep your eyes open. I am doing the same. Sadly, it seems that in both cases, the first
thing seen is usually the damage they create rather than bugs or eggs.

Good luck,

JD

P.S. I am thinking about adding some dissolved aspirin to my feed water for protection.

I cant see the pics?

You should be able to! Did you follow the link? They're albums of multiple pictures.

That's the first i've ever heard or read of that, how does that work? Mites are indeed tough! It requires a level a pro activity that seems to be sapped from our group. XD

It's like taking antibiotics, you have to be on time every time for a little while. with the right amount of effort it's a sure thing.

Good luck with your mites as well java, where are you?
