So, in other words... True.

It almost sounds like you're defending them immediately after calling them a cog.

lol

Well yes ten years ago. If you are the same person you were 10 years ago then get out of the basement!

Really a stretch to use Fox News as some sort of liberal backhand. Don't watch them and don't consider them a reliable source or a truly conservative outlet. They are just more controlled opposition. Just wait until Truth Social is running for all. it's going to be a game changer!

Welcome to the Great Awakening......

space pope,if you're listening, can we please have the AG nut up and charge trump who will then panic and try to flee on an oligarchs yacht which will get seized off the coast of puerto rico because trump can't shut the fuck up and will give up his location...then the police will perp walk him past crowds of people hurling paper towels at him....is that too much to ask?:D

If you went with eggs and rotten tomatoes instead of paper towels you might just have an idea that is also the single most entertaining night of television ever.

The Prosecutors Who Resigned Over Trump Criminal Probe Completely Expose Themselves

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/0...al-probe-completely-expose-themselves-n532426
Bragg’s predecessor had accelerated the probe last fall, empaneling a grand jury and receiving much fanfare, especially from the media-sphere. Once Bragg took office, the case appeared to be moving ahead as planned, but these resignations testify to some kind of major internal shift. If Bragg was now expressing doubts about the case moving forward, that signals that he doesn’t believe the evidence is there for a conviction.

Now, we are learning more about Carey Dunnes and Mark Pomerantz, the two prosecutors in question, and suffice it to say, the revelations are disturbing.
So it turns out those prosecutors who resigned over the Trump criminal probe in NY are political hacks who just couldn’t cope with the fact their case was crap. https://t.co/HuhPV2ieqb

Far short of being unbiased upholders of the law, Dunnes and Pomerantz were partisan hacks who were so fixated on destroying Donald Trump that they actually suggested going to trial despite knowing they would likely lose. Their reasoning? That it’s better to try and fail than to be “on the wrong side of history,” a common leftwing trope popularized by Barack Obama. Dunnes, even after admitting the case was weak, insisted it should move forward anyway because it was “a righteous case that ought to be brought.” Pomerantz, a 70-year-old man, actually came out of retirement without pay in order to join the investigation.

January 6 Defendant Being Illegally Detained – Locked up More Than 80 Days With No Indictment

https://redstate.com/leslie-mcadoo-...-more-than-80-days-with-no-indictment-n532662

You don’t see this very often in federal court, but one of the January 6 (J6) Defendants, Lucas Denney, is being held illegally. He was arrested in Texas on December 13, 2021, and brought before a federal magistrate, who ordered him detained without bond on a criminal Complaint. It then took six weeks to transfer him to DC, where he is currently being held. He has not appeared before a federal judge in DC since his arrival, although that will change Monday afternoon as a result of his lawyer seeking his release.

Denney’s case involves two distinct, major screwups. The first is that he was not afforded a Preliminary Hearing, to which he is entitled under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure and the Constitution. The second is that he has not been indicted by a grand jury within 30 days of his arrest, as required by the federal Speedy Trial Act. Consequently, Denney’s detention has been unlawful since at least late January 2022.

Denny has been charged with violently assaulting multiple Capitol Police officers.
Also, it seems he was involved in the planning and recruitment of the attack.
He’s not going anywhere for a very long time, especially if he opts for a jury trial.

DOJ Rushes to Obtain Indictment for January 6 Defendant to Cure Illegal Detention Claim

https://redstate.com/leslie-mcadoo-...6-defendant-to-cure-illegal-detention-n533107

As I reported Monday, a January 6 Defendant arrested December 13, 2022, had not yet been indicted even though the Federal Speedy Trial Act requires the Government to indict someone within 30 days of the date of their arrest. The Defendant, Lucas Denney, had a hearing Monday afternoon on his counsel’s motions filed last week seeking his release and dismissal of the then-pending charges based on a criminal Complaint.

Over the weekend, the magistrate judge in DC ordered Denney to be personally brought before him for Monday’s hearing and for the Government to explain the delay in bringing Denney before the court after he was transported by the U.S. Marshal’s service from Texas, arriving in DC over five weeks ago, on January 31, 2022.

Also, on Sunday, the Chief Judge of the DC District Court, who oversees the magistrate docket, entered a separate order directing the magistrate to produce a report and make a recommendation to her about how to resolve Denney’s emergency motion that his charges must be dismissed under the Speedy Trial Act because he was not indicted within 30 days of his arrest as required by 18 USC 3162. No deadline was set for the report, however, despite the emergency nature of the motion.

Yes they got in under the wire. Scr ew Denny.
