I don’t break it down to parties or even ideologies. That’s very limiting. What it comes down to is poor parenting. Spoiled kids.

Who raised my generation? spoiled boomers such as yourself. No generation had it easier in America.

I love moonshine, you ever try some real apple pie? Comes from Kentucky/Tennessee just south of me.

I've tried it. I quit drinking anything distilled several years ago. I stick with the occasional fermented beverages. I make some apple cyser most years. And got into making mead for a while while I was beekeeping.

I have to agree that boomers made lousy parents. That being said, looks like millennials are doing an even worse job. lol
And millennials are on track to inherit humongous sums of money from their boomer parents, making them the wealthiest generation by far.
Money for nuthin.

Typical democrats....claim to care about the suppressed and down trodden minorities yet stick it to any who try to advance their
situation thru entrepreneurship and the American spirit...even if it may be his
attempt to feed his family and lift himself off the system...
"you ain't black unless your on government assistance"....

Racism is promulgated by the Democrats

Don't leave the door so wide open. Look at the Dem run Welfare cities and the violent crime among minorities. And they have no issues getting signed up for gov programs, If they want to vote then it's not a issue for registration.

And living off mom and dad in the basement is a lib trait.

Normally doesn't take this long? You make it sound as if an act of insurrection occurs on a regular basis and many have been sentenced for it to set a timeline precedence.

Most of the possible charges against Trump are for crimes he committed before Jan 6, 2021.

They're not developing a Unified Field theory that explains, for example, the Speed of Light.

They're investigating a New York City con man, and most of his tricks are OLD tricks.

It's the SDNY that is doing the dirty work an they are corrupt, complicit with both Epstein and Weiner's coverups. Preet Bharara!

Boomers never had it easy lol. All of us worked our asses off to get where we are. Its minerals that had everything given to them. Most are looking for instant gratification. Born with a cell phone in there hand. No clue how to change a tire. Rich boomers are who you're basing that opinion on. Those people made poor choices in gov/life. People like Trump are the boomers you base that opinion on.

I would disagree that the trump inflation is worse than the inflation of the 1970’s.
Many experts believe the inflation of the 1970’s derived from the (final) removal of the US dollar from the gold standard and of course the oil embargoes during the 70’s made things much worse. And with the high unemployment and stagnant economy, we also had stagflation. I don’t see anything occurring currently that would make things worse than that. However, I shouldn’t underestimate the ability of those in Washington to make things worse. I can think of several examples that could/would destroy our economy to a greater scale.

I suspect that I will get called out for blaming the current inflation on trump, so allow me to explain. Inflation is basically described as too much money chasing too few goods. That definition has two components. Under the trump administration, as FlyLow pointed out a few months ago, the M1 money supply increased by 400% during the trump years. The M2 money supply increased by 35% during the same time period. I believe that is the largest increase in money supply in US history. Hence, we have too much money. As for the second component, the trump administration’s abysmally incompetent response to the pandemic led to a breakdown of the US economy, leading to massive business closures, record breaking unemployment and a collapse of the distribution system. This occurred at the very beginning of the pandemic, leading to empty shelves in stores, never seen before in the US. Basic staples such as rice, flour, beans, milk, eggs, meat products, toilet paper, paper towels, bleach and everyday cleaning products disappeared overnight and in some cases were gone from store shelves for 6 months or longer. At the same time these products disappeared, US farmers were dumping milk, culling their herds and trashing chickens and eggs by the millions. These basic breakdowns led to supply and demand imbalances that were amplified by similar breakdowns in China and elsewhere that led to a downward spiral of supply/demand imbalances. Some of these imbalances would partially correct before trump left office in disgrace, but commodity prices had already begun to spike well before then. Lumber is a great example. By the time President Biden took office, lumber prices had already doubled or tripled, and other commodities were also increasing due to demand outstripping supplies. Many shortages still continue to this day, such as with computer chips, which is driving the cost of automobiles and other chip heavy products to large increases. Thus we have too much money, chasing too few goods, which directly ties back to trump.

How do you drain the swamp? The COVID money was a trap. Congress is ultimately responsible. Trump knew exactly how corrupt congress is and the extent of the deep state medical industrial complex. He allowed that budget to happen so that the funds could be tracked by the NSA and military. Now they know who committed fraud and they will be able to prosecute them and many will be unable to run for office again. How do you drain the swamp? Watch what happens when the prosecutions start. All that money will be returned to the people of the US.

As far as the devastation to our economy and supply, that is all entirely due to the deep state attacking us. Trump is the reason it went so smoothly (because he outmaneuvered the enemy).

I have no counter-argument for that reasoning. :friends:

I guess I'll agree that there are some crooked fucks doing dumb shit with our money.

But thinking ex president ass hat ever did or ever will do anything to fix it is delusional at best. He has done an amazing job at highlighting to inefficiencies and corruption of our government. But only by exploiting it on a completely new level.
