Great job again this year Vesnican. I enjoy the informative posts in your thread. Good detail and pictures. It's a shame I never find your threads till it's all over, but I thank you for taking the time and showing us your grows. Looking forward to watching next year, maybe you can PM me when you start so I don't miss it.

Peace GG

Sweet Cheese F1 Fast version

Sweet Cheese F1 Fast version

Dear friends,

I have decided to refresh this older thread and bring you some info and pictures from my Sweet Cheese Fast version outdoor 2017 season.

Due to some circumstances I started to germ Fast version on 20 May, which is about 3 weeks later this season compare to the years before,.

Full Germ rate 5/5 by SS as usual.

For first 3 weeks seedlings kept in the greenhouse i Biobizz light mix soil and fed only with root juice. 2 best looking seedlings kept, the rest went to another farmer.

15 June Plants planted outdoor to hole filled with mixture of lightmix, compost and garden dirt. During entire grow stage fed with Biobizz grow.

1 July plants well adapted outdoor

18 July: main stem topped, plants growing fine.

9 August both plants already in early bloom, height more than 2metres, tallest branches tight down. Started to fed Biobizz bloom and topmax.

Two phenos occurred, one is blooming faster then the other, lets call them early and late pheno.

Early pheno

Early pheno

8 September Great flowering stage for early September. Buds already sticky. This would lead to harvest before start of October.

BUT unfortunately from late August powdery mildew start to massively attack this plant. After some hesitating I realized in mid-September that more than half of the plant is already affected by the disease.

After some consultations here on IC, I cut the plant and healthy parts very given to family seniors for their home medicine purposes.

Early pheno is tall and Xmass shape, not much bushy, more sativa appearance.

This year late summer was colder and rainier in my region then usual. I haven’t experienced in my entire carier massive powdery mildew infection like this. Bad weather was probably boosting it.

Late pheno

Late pheno

Performed better resistance to powdery mildew, even it was next to early one. This one was more bushy and robust I got short of Biobizz ferts, so used some Greenhouse Bloom sample, plant was hungry and looked she liked it.

1 October late pheno harvested.

Smell was not much intensive, which is finally better, when you grow in neighborhood. Herby, earthy, peppery tones, not sweetness or citrous. Buds overall midsize and hard.

Stem width at the bottom 5,5 cm, nice rootball.

Late pheno

Late pheno

Due to powdery mildew and bud rot (which was obvious in that rainy weather) I harvested about 40% of possible yield. It is important to note, that if a bud is little bit affected by disease I discard it. No surgery removing of healthy fragments. I believe that fungi spread its threads and spores far more around its visible presence and I definitely don’t want to vape fungi..

If I would start these plants in early May as other tested Fast versions years before, possible yield would be same as in case of Sweet Skunk. Cream Mandarine is bit more productive, but maturing about a week later compare to late pheno and 2 weeks to early pheno.

Looks like you had some big plant's this year. Shame about the PM and mold. Some years the weather just does not co-operate. Hopefully you still got enough to get you through till next year.

Peace GG

Not suffering too much with budrot – grey botrytis, bud some kind of insect infecting fat buds with caterpillars.

Those small bastards live inside the nug, as they shit there, budrot appears and some kind of mites. And to reveal them, you have to really carefully check every single nug. But still acceptable losses..

We call those pests Cutworms here and they're a pain in the ass!
