Here's an update on the stuff flowering. I'll update veg tomorrow as I have to buy soil and transplant a few things.

Pics #1-3: Smaller JLP G13 bx F2 lady at around 43-50 days
Pics #4-5: Phoenix Haze clones, this girls are finally starting to form some buds at around 45 days flower
Pics #6-7: Bigger JLP G13 bx F2 lady, about 15 days behind the smaller one
Pics #8-9: Skunk #1 at about 30-35 days.
Pic #10: Two Lowryder x Indica's at 4 days flower, will be transplanted tomorrow, decided to LST one of them also. I found out the Indica in them is an Afghani as well.

Looking good. Whats Alligator made up of? Is it just local to your area? One things for sure, your posts don't lack pictures. :canabis:

Yea I'm a little bit of a perfectionist. If I had a decent camera this threat would be all pictures lol. Not sure what the Alligator is made up of, next time my buddy is over I'll ask him, but I believe I asked him before and he didn't know if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for stopping by clearcutter .

Another crazy grow

Another crazy grow

Hi SammyCrack & Shaolin... I've got a mixed grow going too that has some similarities to yours. 400w light (switchable), 4x4 grow area in closet lined w/ Mylar. Soil mix is ProMix HP + xtra perlite, blood meal, bone meal, potash, and a little triple phosphate. Using Earth Juice grow, bloom, catalyst and Thrive Alive red.

I germed 2 PPP (Nirvana), 2 Magic Bud (Paradise), 1 Kush x Kryptomania (freebie), 14 Outdoor Mix (Sensi Seeds), and 7 bagseeds. Vegged 4 wks, and have now been on 12/12 for 2 wks. I was hoping for about 10-12 ladies out of the mix of 26, but I got 17!!! 1 PPP, 2 Magic Bud, 1 Kush x Kryptomania, 8 Outdoor Mix, and 5 bagseeds! One of the OM plants is a polyploid.

Plants are in 1 gal containers (kinda small I know...my 1st indoor in a while, and that's what I had). They are all very healthy, and mostly about 15" now. A couple of the OM plants are sativas, and I had to tie them down. Not sure how much more all these ladies are gonna stretch in the next 4-5 weeks... might have to trim the side branches, 'cause they're pretty close in there. Keepin' a fan on 'em.

I have been growing (mostly outdoors) for many years, but this is my first grow with some "store bought" seeds... will be interesting to see how they compare to the bagseed. Hoping for 6-8 ozs, but I haven't had any smoke since last July, so I'm sure not gonna be picky! :D I don't have a digicam, or I would definitely post pics... maybe next grow. Shine on! MG

mastergrow: You may have to transplant in flower, if the stretch looks bad I suggest you catch it while its early. Thats that I'm doing with my Haze clones. You should definitly get a nice fat harvest around what your shooting for. I'm interested in what those Outoor Mix will be like as well.

PNW: Hey bro how ya doin? Glad to see ya stopped by. The BogBubble are next generation after whats in flower now, then I'll probobly settle for some Great White Shark and NYCD .

Hello again Shaolin. I transplanted my plants from 1/2 gal to 1 gal just before 12/12. They were somewhat root bound, but not real bad. They really haven't stretched much in during the first 2 wks of 12/12, and the roots of the males that I have removed in the last few days had progressed only slightly into the 1 gal pots. I think this is because of the abundance of organic nutes in the soil... if the plant is getting what it needs, it does not have to devote as much energy to root growth (ie hydroponics). One of the major advantages of growing organically (IMHO), is that you can have larger amounts of available nutes in the soil w/o burning the plants. I for got to mention in the last post, that when I repotted, I mixed in some horse manure (about 25%) that had been composting for about 4 yrs, and that I sterilized in the oven (I have an endless supply of free horse manure where I live).

I realize that my plants may not reach their full potential in 1 gal pots, but as I said before, they are VERY healthy looking and seem to be using most of their energy in pistil production at this point. Regardless, I do not plan to repot them again w/ only about a month to go. I do not have many larger pots right now, but plan to purchase some 3 gal for the next grow. I knew going into this grow that I would sacrifice yield w/ the smaller pots, but my main objective was to to get some decent smoke as quickly as possible (remember, no pot since July  ), w/ what I had on hand. I think the quality will still be good.

I have clones of the Magic Bud, Kush x Kryptomania, and a couple of the Outdoor Mix plants. The two PPPs (m & f) are both the same pheno w/ no side branching... I didn't clone them, but I have isolated the male to collect pollen. Plan to partially pollenate the female PPP, and the better of the 2 Magic Bud ladies (Magic Power? :D ). Will most likely give out some of the PPP x Magic Bud seeds for test grows.... sounds like a possible killer indoor/outdoor cross to me.

You are curious about the Outdoor Mix plants? 2 of them look like pure sativas, and are growing horizontally (got too tall). A few are dark, stout, broadleafed indicas, and the rest look like indica/sativa mixes. All are flowering RAPIDLY...especially the sativas. One of the indica/sativa plants is especially interesting. It has somewhat narrow, heavily segmented leaves (kinda like Sour Bubble), with heavy inner growth (short side branching) at the nodes which are narrowly spaced. It's smell is very unusual... very sweet and kinda like Coppertone suntan lotion! Ahh, and I have a clone from this one! One of the more indica dominant phenos is the polyploid I mentioned in the last post... it has 2 main colas w/ the densest growth I have ever seen.

I wanted to mention another anomaly in this grow also. One of my bagseed plants is rather unusual. It started off as a twisted looking seedling (kinda like the original Blueberry), and grew like a ground cover for the 1st 3 wks of veg. It has 2 main stems (was not topped), and the leaves have very short WIDE fronds... don't even look much like marijuana leaves. It has since shown more vertical growth (about 12"), but is as wide as it is tall. It has a pungent citrus/grapefruit smell when the stems are rubbed. Man, I LOVE the diversity in this grow!

I am curious about your Lowryder buds. Is it potent? Nice high? Good flavor? I have always been somewhat skeptical of ruderalis crosses, as pure ruderalis plants are not known for their potentcy. I hope you guys don't mind me posting this on your thread...it may appear as if I am attempting to hijack it, but that is not my intension. Just say the word, and I will post here no more. Wishing you the best in your grow! MG

No I don't mind you posting at all mastergrow. The Lowryder was some decent smoke, nothing more special than some quality beasters in my opinion. It only yielded about 3 grams so it wasn't worth curing. Sammy and I split it and each smoked it in one session I believe, atleast I did . I think the Lowryder x Indica (which is Afghani, just going to called it Lowryder x Afghani from now on.) should be interesting.

I got a lot of deformaties in my BogBubble seedlings, one has a leaf that is 2 blades grown together it looks like, this one also topped itself, had 3 tops at birth . Those fast flowering sativas you have in the outdoor mix sound like fun, do you have a grow log of your own?

Yeah, I knew Lowryder didn't produce much bud. Doc Chronics has Lowryder x Matanuska seeds... I wonder how those would be? Those Lowryder x Afgani DO sound interesting... keep us posted. I have some Bogglegum seeds on the way from Seedbay... will definitely be including them in the next grow. Shine On! MG

Doc Chronic is about to release a bunch of Lowryder crosses sometime soon. His Blueberry x Lowryder is supposed to be nice but all the crosses don't always auto-flower, for example mine :(.

Even if the Lowryder crosses don't auto-flower, are they still pretty short season?

Yeah, they stay pretty short mastergrow, but it would of been nice if they auto-flowered :p. Anyways, I transplanted the BogBubbles out of 12 oz cups into 3/4 gallon pots I think. They will show sex in this and I plan to finish them in 1.5 gallon pots if I am able to.

You should be fine w/ 1.5 gal pots @ 2-3 ft when finished. What do ya figure they'll yield? .5-1 oz per plant? Got my Bogglegum seeds today! :yummy: Will plant them w/ my next grow in April... can't wait! MG

That should be some fine smoke! Have you grown BOG strains before?
