i like the setup, i went to that site and where did you get a ballast for that? i dont want to buy a kit and the ballasts i've found are quite pricey.

but a question not so much about the fan
as the bulb and how you keep that cool..

Originally I had the fan pulling air from the cooltube that was drawing air directly from inside the cab. Then I wanted to improve temps so I gave the cooltube it's own dedicated intake and bought another fan to exhaust the cab air, but this didn't really help with temps. Then the first fan I bought broke, so I used the other fan to pull the cab's air through the cooltube like in the original setup. I then got a new fan as quick as possible because I knew that the other radioshack fan would die soon too, I guess that don't last long whith high static pressure.

Props amnesia you got it working real nice.. I think you could just use couple of silent pc fans, one for the cool tube and one for the box.. wire them up to adjustable adaptors they sell at frys or radioshack.. I'm a firm believer that 150 cabs can be cooled completely quiet even if ur in arizona. Theres this guy who grows vertical in a trash can and gets more than a gpw in soil.

Are you talking about the strain? It just wasn't that high yielding, that's all. For a micro grow, it will yield you enough to last until your next harvest but not much more.

Now if you're talking about the rubbermaid and why I build a new cab, it's because mainly I wanted to grow more weed! haha. I just wanted more space as well as an NGB cab so that I could go perpetual.
