COYOTE DANGER?

The coyotes I've seen were all very shy animals.

BTW: All it takes to scare almost any animal including bears is a good MOFO yelling at them.

Call any bear a motherphucker (MOFO) like your yelling at some crackhead and watch the bear run.

Go practice at the local Zoo.

They will send a female out, while the rest of pack hangs back in the cover. She will try draw him closer and closer to the forest.
Many male dogs, big and small have been lost that way.

This is true. Keep an eye on your dogs when around coyotes.

There is a great story about a pack that tried to lure/and kill a large male pitbull. They didn't fare very well

Kinda-sorta. Sows w/ cubs are a lot more dangerous than otherwise, so if you see a cub, turn around & head in the other direction. Grizzlies are extremely dangerous under any circumstances.

Urban coyotes are dangerous when they lose their fear of people- not to adults but to little kids & pets-
