Covid virus: Scientists find virus contains tiny chunk of DNA that matches sequence patented by Moderna THREE YEARS before pandemic began

https://strangesounds.org/2022/02/m...oderna-three-years-before-pandemic-began.html

Moderna filed the patent in February 2016 as part of its cancer research division, records show. The patented sequence is part of a gene called MSH3 that is known to affect how damaged cells repair themselves in the body. It was approved on March 7 the following year.

New Study Finds Covid-19 Jabs Offer ‘Virtually No Protection’ Against Omicron

by The Epoch Times

in Healthcare, News and Opinions

Individuals who are double-vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 have “virtually no protection” against the Omicron variant, according to a peer-reviewed study.

The research, led by Rudolf Valenta of the Medical University of Vienna, found that only people who had received the third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine can form antibodies that could partially block Omicron, although noting that the protection is far from optimal.

“The third vaccination developed protective antibodies in many individuals,” Valenta said, adding that “there is also a significant proportion (20 percent) in whom no protection was established.”

According to results of the study recently published in the journal Allergy, researchers with the Medical University of Vienna examined an Austrian subpopulation of people who had been vaccinated or recovered from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus. Scientists examined individuals’ antibody status and protection against the Wuhan, Delta, and Omicron variants, strains that are currently prevalent in the European country.

The study involved people who received all types of COVID-19 vaccines and vaccine combinations currently licensed in Austria.
Regarding the Omicron variant, researchers developed a test for the previous variants that investigates whether the COVID-19 strain can bind to the receptor on human cells via its receptor-binding domain (RBD).

“The results showed that both COVID-19 convalescent individuals and individuals who had been vaccinated twice had developed antibody protection against Delta. However, the antibodies were not able to block receptor binding against Omicron,” the researchers found.

An RBD is a key part used by a virus, including the CCP virus, to enter the “spike protein” domain that allows viruses to dock to the human body, gain entry into cells, and lead to infection.

The RBD differed only slightly in all CCP virus variants previously known, researchers said, adding that the COVID-19 vaccines that are currently available could provide protection against infections caused by these previous strains.

“Omicron is the first variant that differs greatly from the previous variants in RBD, consequently, infections with the previous variants and currently available vaccines provide little or no protection against Omicron,” the study found.

The researchers noted that the best protection would be to develop a broadly effective combination vaccine that could protect against both the previous CCP virus variants and Omicron.

“Until we have such a vaccine, only repeated vaccinations with the existing vaccines will provide some protection,” Valenta said. “The protective effect achieved by vaccination can be evaluated with special tests that can be rapidly adapted to new virus variants.”

Omicron became dominant in the United States in December 2021 and other studies have already suggested it can evade protection from COVID-19 vaccines and prior infection better than Delta. Most previous studies have also found that natural immunity remains superior to vaccination, including while Delta was dominant.

In a recent study, antibody protection against the CCP virus among recovered individuals was detected at 20 months post-infection, adding to the body of evidence that such protection, known as natural immunity, is long-lasting.

I saw a report a few days ago that one country (I forget which country) found DNA markers indicating that Hamsters and Green Monkeys were used in the development of COVID-19. These two species are commonly used as lab animals. For instance, SV-40 (Cancer in humans) came from Green Monkey cells used in the early Polio vaccines.

trichrider Do you ever follow links to the actual study? You realise this supports getting a booster vaccination.
It basically says there is not much protection provided by either natural immunity or double vaxxed to omnicron, but that you are somewhat protected if you get the booster. So get vaccinated.

There is virtually no protection against infection with the currently circulating Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus for dual-vaccinated and recovered individuals who were infected with the previous SARS-CoV-2 variants. Only individuals who have been immunized against COVID-19 with a third Corona vaccination form antibodies that can partially block Omicron

Third vaccination offers best protection - but far from being optimal
Blockade of Omicron was better in those individuals who had received a third vaccination. "The third vaccination developed protective antibodies in many individuals," explains Rudolf Valenta, "however, there is also a significant proportion (20 percent) in whom no protection was established”.

Natural Immunity More Protective Over Time Than COVID-19 Vaccination: Study

By Zachary Stieber
December 10, 2021 Updated: December 13, 2021
biggersmallerPrint

Immunity people enjoy after recovering from COVID-19 is better than the protection bestowed from vaccination, according to a new study from Israel.
Researchers analyzing data from the county’s health database from August to September found both COVID-19 infections and severe disease were higher among the vaccinated than those who recovered from the illness, also known as people with natural immunity.
For instance, the naturally immune had a 10.5 per 100,000 infection rate four to six months following their recovery, versus a 69.2 per 100,000 rate among the vaccinated.
The number of severe cases was also higher among the vaccinated: 0.9 percent of all cases among that group were severe, compared with 0.5 percent of cases among the recovered.
Researchers found that protection against infection dropped over time among both the recovered and vaccinated, but the drop was more pronounced among the vaccinated.
They also studied two other cohorts: people with natural immunity who later got a vaccine, and people who got a vaccine and later recovered from an infection.
Case rates were low in both those groups. They were the lowest by a small number in the naturally immune who got a jab.
“We found that protection against the Delta variant wanes over time for both vaccinated and previously infected individuals and that an additional dose restores protection,” Yair Goldberg, an associate professor at the Israel Institute of Technology who led the pre-print study (pdf), told The Epoch Times in an email.
The study analyzed the effectiveness of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, the one most used in Israel.
COVID-19 is the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.
Limitations of the study included having longer-term data for the recovered versus the other groups; an undetermined number of vaccinated people not being diagnosed as naturally immune; and possible detection bias because the naturally immune are less likely to get tested than the vaccinated.
Protection Holds Up Over Time

Immunity can be measured through antibodies, which primarily protect against infection, or through T cells and B cells, which primarily protect against severe disease.
“Those immune cells don’t go away over time,” Dr. Jeffrey Klausner, a professor at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, told The Epoch Times in an email.
Though the levels of antibodies go down in both the naturally immune and vaccinated as time elapses since recovery or getting a shot, both groups enjoy long-lasting protection against severe disease or death.
People who are immune have a 90 percent lower risk of severe disease, according to recent research from Qatar.
The naturally immune, though, are better protected against both infection and severe disease, according to a large body of research that includes the latest study from Israel.
“If you had COVID before and recovered, all the data that we’re looking at will suggest that you have bulletproof natural immunity, which is much more robust and comprehensive than vaccine immunity,” Dr. Paul Alexander, an epidemiologist with the Early COVID Care Experts who has compiled 141 studies on natural immunity—including a major study from Israel published in August—told The Epoch Times.
The Question

The question that divides the scientific community is whether people with natural immunity should get vaccinated.
Those who do are described as having “hybrid immunity.”
Top U.S. health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, and some scientists have encouraged vaccination among the naturally immune.
They point to studies indicating people with hybrid immunity have the highest level of protection, at least against infection.
“The hybrid immunity of people who have survived their initial infection and then get vaccinated—they have stronger protection than anybody,” Dr. David Boulware, an infectious disease physician and scientist with the University of Minnesota Medical School, told The Epoch Times.
The Israeli researchers also suggest a dose for the naturally immune, but not everybody is on board.
“There is little benefit from getting vaccinated after recovery from COVID,” Dr. Harvey Risch, an epidemiology professor at the Yale School of Public Health, told The Epoch Times in an email.
Alexander noted that some studies indicate giving recovered patients a vaccine can lead to a higher rate of adverse events and that such events reported to Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System is higher than other vaccines.
Boulware says a way to minimize potential events is for the recovered not to get a vaccine for at least six months after recovery.

the insurance companies will be the fun tell, get yer popcorn....

The head of Indianapolis-based insurance company OneAmerica said the death rate is up a stunning 40% from pre-pandemic levels among working-age people.

“We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business – not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “The data is consistent across every player in that business.”

Davison said the increase in deaths represents “huge, huge numbers,” and that’s it’s not elderly people who are dying, but “primarily working-age people 18 to 64” who are the employees of companies that have group life insurance plans through OneAmerica.

“And what we saw just in third quarter, we’re seeing it continue into fourth quarter, is that death rates are up 40% over what they were pre-pandemic,” he said.

“Just to give you an idea of how bad that is, a three-sigma or a one-in-200-year catastrophe would be 10% increase over pre-pandemic,” he said. “So 40% is just unheard of.”

disclaimer; these insurance company vampires are not physicians or medical experts. consult your primary dolt before accepting unofficial accounts of death.

lol, What others do has no impact on you. Bashing people because they took their health seriously and got vaccinated says more about you.. I don't give a shit what others do. They will have to live with their choices, not me. I have friends that didn't get vaccinated, that's their choice, THEY ARE STILL MY FRIENDS. I have friends that got vaccinated including myself, which was our choice. Sharing my dobbies hasn't been a thing for me in decades. They can roll their own. People like you thinking others must conform to your idea of what's real/fake is where the prob is. Stop worrying about what others do or don't do.
