Couple ?'s about 12/12 from seed..

Hey there..

Going to start 20 seeds next weekend and wanted to get some advice for growing 12/12 from seeds.
These seeds will be a mix from what I've collected over the years.i just put them all in 1 baggie instead of having many small baggies with 10 or so in each bag.
The area is a walk-in closet about 5x8x9.i will only use 5x5 of this area because I only have a 600w,mag ballast,hortilux bulb.
I've made a 6" hole up top and a 6" hole opposite on the bottom,passive intake.ive lined the area with Lighting97%.
My medium will be a mix of fox farm ocean,planting mix,pro mix with added perlite.
The nutes will be age old organics grow,bloom,kelp..been using this stuff for years.its good.

Now I plan on using 1g smart pots from start to finish..will these be big enough?

Also,when do I start 12/12?
Should I wait till they are a few inches tall,or they have a certain amount of leaf sets?

And the nutes.should I give them bloom right away,and little grow?

I've had a couple more ?'s but I kinda spaced them..and the pizza just got here.

There's a really good ongoing 12/12 from seed thread, started by Hal (a sorely missed member) that has input from a lot of different growers and their strains. Seems to me that sativas can be started right from germination on 12/12, indicas need a little veg time or yields are piss poor. The nutes ? I don't know, I'm a hydro guy, and I'd tend to light veg nutes at first, slowly transitioning through to flowering over first 4 weeks or so. The pics in that thread show some beauty colas, donkey dick for sats, popsicles for indys. Good luck, keep us updated.

Thanks for that Explozive..
Lots of good info there..kinda fizzled out towards the end though.
But I have a general idea.
Should be interesting..looking forward to getting my thumb green again..
