Could use some help ASAP??

Hi all,
I was wondering if someone could help me narrow down a problem I am having with a few of my plants, three actually. I have a setup with 20 Plants 3 of which being a different strain than the others. Now I know the dangers of running 2 diff. strains in the same setup but I did it and now I suppose I am paying the price. Anyway here we go...






I am running them in 3” RW Cubes atop 6” Sq Pots of hydroton. I am using a GH 3 part, reduced to only 2 part (Micro/Bloom) at 8/16 ratio 8ml micro Per Gal/ 16ml Bloom per Gal. in a 7 gals res. I keep my res temps at 65-70 and my ph between 5.6 and 6. Now all the rest of my girls are doing fine but the 3 of a different strain are not doing so well, they are the more indica of the bunch and I am slightly worried about them as they are having issues. Here are some leaf picts...










I was thinking maybe Mg deficiency? But I am not sure and I could use some help.

I actually just noticed that 2 of my other strain are showing slight symptoms of the same problem!!

If it helps my PPM's are at 1200, is that a tad high for week 3 into flower?

Can anyone else confirm a propable cal deficiacy?

i would say yes but then again i'm in soil..i never go over 2 EC while feeding otherwise i have troubles....at 3 weeks in i use around 800 PPM's....but again this is my setup...

i have no experience with hydroton...what so ever...i just stated the possible problems...hope you solve it

Thanks Core! I will continue to hang in there for more answers from ppl with hydro setups but your help is GREAT!

I added a small amout of lime mixed in water to my res.. just a small amt to see if I notice a differance. I am gonna go get some cal mag, But I thought that GH's Micro added all the calcium I would need. Anyone else have any Exp with GH and having a deficiancy?

Definately a calcium def - one of my MK has the same problem. I use soil and organics so not sure about the ppm etc but it seems a bit high at 1200?

I'm not sure of the solution for hydro but normally some lime (or recently suggested to me, crushed eggshells) would be what I'd add to soil. For Hydro, I think Cal-Mag would be good for you if it's suitable for your setup.

If it was a mag def then you'd see yellowing leaves with green veins.

Sorry you're looking for replies about hydro and I can't give more advice but it's def a Calcium lockout of some sort. Once you get it sorted, new growth will not be spotted anymore.
