That may keep you from getting arrested for not wearing a mask, but I didn't see where it said N95 or better. I will print a skull and crossbones on mine if I have to go out wearing one, which I plan to avoid.

A mask really just protects other people from you, unless you plan on wearing a hazmat suit for the rest of eternity, its pretty much just here to stay, may the strongest survive....limiting your exposure rate of infection seems to be your best chance of being able to fight it off and build resistance.

About people recovering from the Virus, then getting it a second time within a few months -

doesn't exactly fill me with hope for the vaccine.

China approves first anti-viral drug against coronavirus Covid-19

Anti-viral drug Favilavir has secured approval from the National Medical Products Administration of China to treat coronavirus Covid-19, according to media reports.

China Daily reported that the Taizhou government in Zhejiang province announced the approval, which marks the authorisation of the first drug against the new coronavirus.

Formerly Fapilavir, the drug was developed by Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical.

Fapilavir allegedly demonstrated efficacy with minor side effects in an ongoing 70-patient clinical trial in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. The drug’s generic version received the approval.

Production of the anti-viral drug was begun on Sunday, added the news agency.

Looks like the death rate is up to a steady 125+ people a day.

That's 1000 people every 8 days, about 4000 people every month.

It sounds terrible.

That's if it continues at a straight line and doesn't go more exponential/ parabolic.


In a Chinese province with 100 million people.

Looked it up, the birth death rate is 12/7 per 1000 people.

No wonder the population is growing.

Normally they would have 700,000 people dying each year.

From the CoVid virus - about 42,000 the rest of the year.

I'm sure it sucks to have your lungs filling with fluid, drowning is one of the most painful forms of death.

But it is a small fraction of the normal deaths that would occur in any year.

China is getting awfully excited for a barely measurable increase in the death rate.

Maybe it's worse than the 125 deaths per day that they're admitting publicly.

We ran it by Melody Goodman, associate professor of biostatistics at New York University’s School of Global Public Health.
