I've had this happen to me way back. My friend was getting arrested for a small amount and the cop was trying to get him to admit he was selling. I called him to see what he was up to and if he wanted to hang out, and some random person picked up the phone. The convo went something like this;
me: "Is ____ there?"
them: "Ya, he's in the other room right now, but what do you need?!"
me: "I need to talk to ____."
them: "He's busy homie, but I got you, what you NEED?! I got it!"
me: "I NEED to talk to ____."
them: "I'll have him call you back."
