Coppers told me My 215 script was good for Life..

J

JackTheGrower

Mine is dated 2001 and it is a for life recommendation.

I got it for the cost of a standard office visit price. $60 at the time. Costs $90 to see the doctor now in 2010.

So yes a recommendation is good for life unless it is stated by your doctor you may only use cannabis for a fixed period of time.
They after all are treating you and allowing us to use cannabis.

Mine sais I was so crazy I might as well.... JUST KIDDING..

Mine thinks cannabis is harmless and can treat many symptoms of things he doesn't like giving pills for.
I think he said given a narcotic of allowing cannabis Cannabis was the better choice because it isn't addictive and can't kill you if you take too much.
I think he had a patient kill themselves but I don't know.

I got pulled over for driving with expired tags last Friday, they searched the car and found 1 lb and my pipe, they found some other stuff too so I got arrested, I was bailed out that night and was told if I wanted any of my belongings to goto the evedence recovery down town, Last night I went down to get mainly my lbs and the wanted to see my script and my id, All I had was one from 2 years ago.

They said that was fine that once you get your script that you never need to renew its good for life..

I asked why is ther an expiration date and they told me it was for clubs and the Drs, to make money.

Seemed weird to me, they let me get back my stash and they didnt even take some for there self.

Anyone heard of this, and not from the clubs stand point, I can see why they would need a up to date script, but I have never been to a club or have no plans of going to one. thanks

Re the script: :jump::jump::jump::jump: This is BIG news, Fabulous news! I hope this thread helps spread the word!

Re the expired tags: :bashhead::bashhead::bashhead::spanky::lightning::lightning::wallbash: :bashhead::spank::spank::spank::spank::spank:

well i know but the mmp card is just verification of your doctors letter. the mmp card is proof that at the time of applying, one had a valid doctor's rec. so if that's the case, an expired mmp card should be just as meaningful to a judge as you can't get one without getting a doctor's rec, and once you have a doctor's rec it's good for life unless your current medical needs change. (i have an incurable condition so my current medical needs won't change unless they come up with a cure which believe me i would trade for giving up herb)

i'm renewing it anyway just to avoid the PITA if i ever run into johnny law.

Your 215 Rec doesn't expire, only because 215 never said your Rec was only good for a year-- Your Rec is the only thing covered by 215, the MMP is a separate entity, so it is not bound the same under 215...therefore it can have an expiration date--
Yeah...I renew mine yearly also, especially for out working at the Grow...if we ever get rolled on--:)

i heard a story about some guy getting back 60 lbs after CHP took it. but rootney your story sounds weird. the limit per patient under 215 is only half a pound. so a full LB is over the limits and still considered a felony. something doesnt add up...

Krunch, this is 100% legit-- My son got busted last year for weed and hash, tho not nearly as much, with an expired Rec...and they were going to plea him out in Court-- I showed up with a copy of WINDUS, and nobody knew anything about it-- I told his PD that he would take this to Jury Trial, unless it was dismissed-- The DA spent the next 2 hours online checking this out...and in the end...they dismissed it--
As far as the "Personal Use" part...I have confidence Krunch, that you can beat your Case...but you may need to drop some cash on a good Lawyer-- As the AG Guidelines states...

thats pretty cool....cant believe the DA and lawyers dont even know the law on this. good work getting your sons case dismissed i wish my dad would do something like that.

No limits under 215. SB 420 attempted to impose limits, but that was struck down by CA Supreme Court.

WOW!
That's really, really good information to know.
What a huge difference between California and all the other MMJ states, iirc.
Practically civilized.
I'm packing my bags -- too bad I'm too late to vote on Prop 19 ...

my doctor wrote how many plants and how much weight i can have so there is no confusion if i am ever questioned. and the mmp card says the doctor's note is legit. i figure that's as close to bullet proof as you can get.

Limits were struck down-- It is all about what you can prove in Court--
Damn...we need something like...like Prop 19...to make it legal State-Wide...so there is no "Gray" area--:tiphat:

i know but with my doctor's note clearly saying i have nothing to prove it's all right there: motion to dismiss your honor as the script clearly states my current medical needs.
