Cop cant handle his high after eating pot brownie

Hope this isnt a re-post, but this is a pretty funny cartoon made about a real 911 call that a cop made to dispatch after eating too many pot brownies.

Yes, this has been up an running for a while. Just about every vid site on this planet has a version, equally every pot forum has a thread or two about it.

But it's such a classic (already) that it's worth posting again, and probably will be posted again and again, for future generations.

A couple of facts concerning the incident: The cop's name is Edward Sanchez (I'm not outing him, it's all over the internet), a Captain of Dearborn Heights Police Department.

Sanchez got the weed by confiscating (stealing) it from suspects.

Later, during questioning by police investigators, he invented a story where he blamed his wife, saying that she took the marijuana out of his police vehicle while he was asleep. His wife backed up his claim by saying that she tricked him into eating the marijuana laced brownie. Yet, after repeated questioning, Sanchez admitted that he took the marijuana out of his vehicle, put it in the brownie batter, and willingly consumed the brownies.

His wife also admitted taking and using cocaine from Sanchez' car, at another occasion.

With other words, Sanchez not only seized and consumed an illegal substance, he also lied to fellow police officers during the investigation (which is a felony in itself).

Edward Sanchez chose to resign before the investigation was completed (with other words, before being fired).

The police department decided to not press charges against Sanchez or his wife. Technically, this means that Sanchez is a free man with a clean record, and if so wishes can re-integrate any police department.

It's nice to see that cops can be humane and give (some) people a break in life

PS: Had Edward Sanchez been better informed about what Cannabis is (chemical properties, physical effects on the metabolism in various doses, etc), then he would have known that you cannot die from smoking or eating Cannabis (except if you eat so much that you choke on it). You don't even need medical assistance from OD:ing. Only lots of sleep.

Had he known, he never would have placed that call, and could have saved his whole career and kushy life as coke snorting, marijuana eating cop, busting others for what he did himself.

Too bad that US Police Departments don't brief their officers about the substances they're supposed to track down.

Kind of like having cyber cops tracking internet criminals, without knowing the difference between PC DOS and Linux, eh?

This is the kind of thing that is responsible for the repeated reports in the press about hospital admissions for cannabis going up 500%. Amazing there hasn't ever been a government campaign in the UK or US that tells them about responsible use. Of course, that would take a responsible government, not the reefer madness lot (Yes Gordon Brown, I'm talking about you... damn idiot).
