Cooling 8 Gavitas without an a/c? How realistic?

silver Mullet, Do you think your room is under-lit? Reason I ask is I am wanting to light a room that is 11'6" x 19' 8" with 8 gavita 1150's. I posted this on another thread here yesterday and it was suggested that I need 12 lights for that room.

So everyone, we are about to have the results! So the room is 11 x 19.8, can't put exact dimension because, you know, it was my first build out and everything has a "slant".

Kgbudman- I got eight 750w gavitas for that size room. I height (8ft) was an issue for the 1000w or we would have gotten them. We hung two 750w yesterday (waiting on the others). Each has a 4x4 space and are bright as fuck. I mean AS FUCK. We plan on rocking them at 825w also to get more punch. Also, that 12 light recommendation is straight crazy.

So I went with two exhausts both with can lite filters. One 10in max can fan and one 12 in max can fan for a little over 2700 cfm. For the intake, one four inch wind kind 141 cfm, I think, and one 6 inch wind king, I think 434 cfm or something like that. Not too sure if I have enough intake, but I guess I'm about to find out!

I'll let you know how it goes by next week!

And out of curiosity, has anyone ever cooled a lung room to provide cold air intake as opposed to using ac to cool a whole room?

It'd be pretty impossible ..I got a buddy who Ru s 1000 watt gravitas on light rails n he uses 8,000 but cooling power per 1,000 watt light to prevent heat issues
