Cool tubes

ive searched the forums and came up with a bunch of threads about cool tubes but couldnt find one that specifically explains how to make one

i understand the basic concept, but i was just curious if anyone had any links to explain the entire process of making a cool tube... i have a 170 cfm inline fan that i think should be enough for my 250w HPS...but ill buy a bigger fan if i need to... im going to be scrogging my next grow and i want to be able to drop that light as close as possible to the canopy... plus i know temps are going to be more of a problem with spring and summer on the way, so i want to get ready now as opposed to waiting til the problem is on top of me

im going to be getting my pyrex bake around tube very soon and just want to be somewhat prepared before it arrives so i can install the cool tube for my next grow that i just germed yesterday

even if u dont have a link.... any pictures or explanations/tips about your cool tube is appreciated

My shit's ghetto, but I was on a budget. I used muffler tape, it's basically plyable metal strapping with holes in the middle. I screwed the socket into the middle of the tape bent it onto the cooltube and used a hose clamp to secure the metal strapping then taped it around good with some alum tape, slid the ducting on tied it on with alum tape, this goes to intake and into carbon and out the cab

thanks guys... keep em coming... this is helping me TONS
The best advice I can muster is measure it all out... plan smooth tubing (I got rushed toward then end of my design/build)

If I could start over, I would have gone bigger, but bigger would not have fit in the new house, so...

I used a candle tube from Target, 4-5" reducer, high temp epoxy, pipe strap, and foil tape/duct.

The pipe strap is screw to the side of the pipe reducer and screwed to the mogul base.
