Controlling Chaos

I don't care where you live or how you think you have it covered, we all live in chaos to some degree. As long as what we do is against US Federal law there is going to be a threat, and if convicted these threats can lead to 5 years in the slammer if it gets pushed.

I look at my life with brush fires everywhere, bombs dropping and people screaming what are you going to do? I look at all my gauges and make sure none of them are too high or too low. I make sure my machine is running within operating parameters.

For people outside our world life is no picnic. Add in what we do and the possibilities of threat increase exponentially.

I don't care how cool and quiet you are, if you are not a weed hermit people know or have at least clue about your business. It gives them a license to push the envelope to your good nature. If you do not want to accept a thug mentality you have to just live with chaos. How do you make people behave if you are not following the law yourself? The best I can personally do is just accept chaos and try to keep my machine operating within acceptable parameters.

Just do the best I can to minimize opportunities for chaos.

It's pretty clear where my most significant risk vectors are, and then it's about managing those. Trash, trips to the store, transferring goods.

It's pretty easy to keep the number of people in the know down - wife, father, the internets. But I'm not supplying a dispensary or anything so wife and I can handle all the labor.

It certainly can still be stressing at times though, for sure.

I know it's just a rant and I bet someone may call me paranoid, but I always feel a bit of blackmail is always implied in my life. I hate to say it, but it is only the women that would do something like this.
