Why is electricity so fooked in California please explain this to me. Why dose Mississippi have more power plants than california? So they can justify charging me an arm and a leg.

Look, it only takes a few pennies to make most stuff now-a-days but you pay 1000 times that retail. It's called an economy and without it we would all be screwed.
I hope you haven't defaulted on a home loan in the past couple years, because if so, your the reason why I'm sitting at home arguing with a stranger why it's wrong to steal electricity instead of being out there working right now..... :wink:

I'm not encouraging hydro theft; I had made mention of 'double feeding', and someone had followed up with a
question in regards to this. A public-domain picture is worth a thousand words, and was for entertainment purposes only. I did include a disclaimer/warning that hydro theft is a crime. Should someone feel bad stealing electricity from a huge corporation to produce lots of cannabis?...well, that's up to them, I guess. I won't encourage it.
How is the picture 'completely fucked', PC? Besides not visualizing the ground connection. Two hots and a ground - done deal for 240V.
The moral of the story is, don't steal power from a multi-billion dollar corporation to prevent your meter from spinning wildly and attracting undesirables/rippers.
