for a landlord inspection have you guys ever had the landlord want to inpect the closet? cant i just say i have personal shit in there? they said they now want to inpect every 3 months to see if people are hiding pets. yeah i'm gone after this lease, fricken gestapo shit right? should just start calling him "my lord"......

no, i just recieved a letter saying they suspect people smoking and having pets in the building( freakin rednecks downstairs), so they want to inspect every 3 mo..... you know pretty much the time it takes to grow 2 to 3 mo. i'm pissed. i was just wondering if anyof you had inspections and the landlord wanted to go in a nonutility closet. cant do that right? thats too intrusive right? what if i had a sex machine or somethin ya know....i do. no i dont

Put some boxes or furniture in front of door, make it look like your storing extra shit. Or get a bunch of dildos and sex machines make it embarrassing for them. Even if you break down for safety sake its fun to just mess with people some times.

That ^^ would look more suspicious than anything else, IMO.

Let him in your house, and if he tries to open the closet door, don't let him. Tell him what's in your closets, cabinets, drawers, fridge, car, etc. are not his business. Period.

I find it highly unlikely he'll try and go in your closets, especially if you have several. It certainly never happened on my walk throughs. It sounds very much like a smell inspection for cigs and animals, so have that part of the grow fully dealt with.

If you are a renter and they want to inspect they can... If you have any rooms that are locked they can ask you to open it. If you say you dont have a key they can tell you to get the key and inspect it on another day.. If they want to look in the closet they can. They can look anywhere they want within the structure. This is all within there rights to do so...If you have a bad landlord they can inspect at anytime as long as they give you a 24 hour written notice.. What they cant do is look in boxes or dresser draws anything thats not part of the structure is off limits.. Hope this helps...

Hey Meraxes. I have had this exact same thing happen to me just a while ago. My landlord told me a city inspector had to come and inspect our places to make sure they were "up to code". I talked to my landlord for a while about this (there pretty cool) and just acted dumb, asking "should I clean my closet?" and other things. My landlord told me they have the right to look anywhere but usually make it quick. I got worried because my landlord says shes kind of a bitch and looks for issues to bring up. My neighbors had a few street signs and she said she was gonna call the feds lol. My girls were like 5 weeks into flower and I decided to risk it and keep them. I cleaned my place spotless. Having the place looking/smelling respectable helps alot. I was ready when they arrived and at the last second unplugged my fan (its a little loud). I followed the lady wherever she went and made it clear that this was my place and she was being watched. She seemed nice though and was in and out in about 3 min. I was relieved to say the least and glad that the city only inspects once every 3 years. If your girls are young I say trash them and see how in depth the inspections will be. If someone goes for your closet say theres personal shit in there that you put away for the inspection. Inspection every 3 months is risky bro.

it helped indeed your grace, just need a 5x4x2 box to cover my tent, no i'm going to break it down the day before, put the 2 plants in a few contractor bags, wrap it kind of like a christmas tree, and maybe lay them down under my bed right before they come in, if it will fit. dont want to kong it.

landlord did a spot inspection of some kind, saw the orange glow from the closet edges
told the renter, 'want you out of here, lease says no pets, i know you got a snake in that closet because i can see the heat lamp glowing'
not good to be out, but better than being out and busted in the same day

edit - and landlord made it plain he wasn't going into that closet

he made a big fuss about how he has to have every key for "fire safety" or some bullshit..

my roomate stepped up and said..."sorry you cant go in there right now, i have some personal embarassing sexual stuff in there"....

the landlord told us he would be back in a week...so we tore everything down the next week, put a bed in there with paintings on the wall, lit a candle, he went in and left 2 minutes later..

pretty funny though, we were joking about having a friend dressed in a leather gimp suit come outside the room like "is he gone yet?? lets get back to the fun!"
