I wouldn't consider the concept ruined... Since you will be waiting until they sell-out, you would be showing your customers some appreciation with an appetizer of disclosure.

The strain will always be known as the secret recipe no matter if people eventually know the recipe or not. It appears that more people will be disgruntled if they don't find out.

Just my two cents. Plus its not like people can remake the secret recipe.. its not that easy.

Pheno 1 smells like chemdog.. If I had to rate the smell potency on this one I would give it a 8. It has dense nugs, and is super sugary! It yielded a ridiculous amount, def the best overall strain I have EVER GROWN (I have grown 75+ strains in past 2 years) if trying to not sacrifice quantity for quality.. What im saying is usually to get strains like this you have to sacrifice quantity. Not w/ the secret recipe! Its funny how a strain w/ this name resulted like this.. Fuckin hilarious.. But for the sake of selling this herb LEGALLY at dispensaries, I hope they release the genetics soon, since it matters to patients..
Thanks for the awesome genetics CSG! One of the few seed strains that has lived up to my expectations!

The reason in my mind that genetic info is needed is that the medical scene IME has tried to change the idea that many held about "people just naming a certain strain whatever they want and selling it". In particular, it is the older generation that could not conceptualize that all these strains are actually different, and not just BS names..

Again, whether or not you release it I still think you guys are the most stand-up company out there and I respect the hell outta ya! But I and many more would like to know.. And as bigsmoke said, it will always be "The Secret Recipe"

I kind of don't care and picked up a pack from the Bay today . I like the fruitiness aspect that's been described and considering the genetics these guys work with am sure I'll find something worth keeping.

There's been 8 or so packs listed on the bay since I ordered mine 2 months ago. They aren't exactly flying off the shelves. I would attribute that to people not knowing what they are buying with those beans.

How fast do you want to wager they'll be gone if the secret is revealed?

Especially if the genetics are as good as they're projected to be. Dem chitz will be gone in a day.

Yes as mentioned by others already, for some of us in med states where it is legal medicine, knowing the genetic make up can be important for patients/consumers. So I too would suggest dropping some knowledge about it.
