BT, how close can you run those to the canopy? What do your temps run? Do you have a big swing when the lights are off?
Hey thanks guys, I tried my best to describe them I was standing by the tent there for a good half hour last night touching sugar leaves and smelling my fingers haha.
If I had the height I would run the COBs a couple inches higher than they are now but can get them pretty close, too close they tend to yellow out which is happening on some closest to the COBs right now. The red/blue LEDs can almost touch the tops of the buds and they seem fine only one cola tip got to within less than 1/4" of a 660nm LED and it turned the very tip white on the bud and another bud in the front middle is an inch or less away from a 660nm LED and is one of the best looking buds in the tent, chunky with a good calyx to leaf ratio.
I havent measured in a while but I think the temp in the tent is close to 10 degrees over ambient with the 3 COBs and red/blues (200w of LED) going and a 80cfm panasonic whisper exhaust fan. Central AC is set at 75 over 75% of the year here and the rest of the time I try to keep it 75 or cooler by opening a window at night. This flowering cycle its been 70-75 ambient in the room the tent is in at lights on and lowest its been at lights out is about 69 for a few hours before it warms up a little during the day. I run my lights at night and off during the day for flowering. Difference in tent temps is about 10 degrees between lights off and lights on usually.
Same here. My temps run 77 on-68 off. I'm running an A/C 1000 but I can't seem to get it to run at a 1000 w/o burning my plants. I have to run it down at 750. Maybe with shorter plants.

Yup like Bobbo said, brand new strain a few people on here are testing for Connoisseur Genetics. I think I am the furthest along in flower of any tester so I may end up have the first samplings.
Yup COB = Chip On Board LED, multiple emitters on a little chip/board packaged and ran as a single LED chip/unit.

Looking nice man! Just few more weeks now. I like my shorter phenos the most so far stucture and trichome wise, you got a favorite so far?
Thanks bud, hmm maybe the shorter pheno on the front right #5. Hard to tell though the smells will probably change a little in the next 2-3 weeks. All smell good though with some variation. The real test will be smoking some.
Yeah mine are developing smells now, im glad none smell minty, was my biggest concern running these since i cant stand minty weed or minty anything really. The ones that do smell are sweet pastry with chem background so far. I dont have any purpling so far. The tall phenos seem low yielding, is that what your seeing?
I was sure I smelled some pastry or doughy type smell in mine too sounds about right compared to mine. My purpling came on late just in the last week or two so between week 5 and 6 for me I started seeing it and the one pheno went dark purple while there is only some small purple coloring on others and basically none on some others that are green phenos.
Its hard to tell about yeild because they are all crammed in the tent pretty tight and havent come out of the tent in a month or more now. From what I can see the taller ones seem to have slightly skinnier but longer more spear shaped colas and a little more distance between internodes than the shorter ones with popcorn buds down the stem a little ways. All mine shorter and taller have a decent main bud, definitely not huge though, with small popcorn buds down the stems, so probably will end up being close to equal in the end I think but will have to wait and see till harvest. One of my short phenos looks like one of the heavier plants and the other shortest one looks like one of the lower or lowest yielders of the 6 so I dont know I guess. The one shorter plant that has decent sized buds is the #5 pheno of mine.
