I have no probs with you quoting any book you'd like, but I'm not a believer in the bible, so the quote is kinda lost on me.

Despite all the hoohaa I've posted about hell and burning, etc., I don't believe in any kind of afterlife. The only tormented souls I care about are the poor bastards that Fakewell and his ilk persecuted for years.

He is dead - and he is gone. I speak no ill of the dead that I wouldn't say while he was alive, and I would have gladly said it to his fat, flushed face - if circumstances had brought us close enuff to.

His form of religion is especially abhorrent to me - I have no faith, although one of my brothers is a practising wiccan (the gay one), and Fakewell would have condemned him for either of those 2 lifestyles. I truly believe in the universal "do unto others", he's just getting a dose back of the crap he did.

I consider myself christian of sorts.. i'm not perfect no but I see life a whole lot different then this demented man . I always hated being lumped into the same catorgory as his type...the evangelical types like him and pat robertson and that dude that was married to that freak tammy fay and benny hin and all those who IMO give christianity a bad rap with their foolishness . Not every christian .. I would even dare to say most christians are not even part of his line of thinking... or follow his theology . So it may sound funny coming from a chrisitan when i say good ridance ..he did more harm then good and I am convinced he was turned away from his beloved pearly gates .

Am I the only one here who's paid a visit to Jerr Bear's own famous institute of higher learning Liberty University? It was a long time ago but man they kept a tight leash on those kids. A girlfriend of mine had gotten in trouble while attending art school getting caught with acid and her parents told her that if she didn't trnasfer to that land of brainwashing, liberty U they wouldn't pay for her schooling. Those kids there loved to be naughty. Even back then you could sell 2 lbs of sinse rks donkey dick there in a day easily at highly inflated prices,lol. I know, it was a bastardly thing to do but I was young. All of the brighter kids there were herded into the debate program which was supposedly world class. I think he hoped of sending his brainwashed minions out into the world of politics. I remember dosing on some beavis and butthead acid in the dorms there. It was like tripping in the belly of the beast. Believe it or not I actually had some fond memories of that place. Being surronded by strict rules and evangelicals makes being bad so much more fun. It's so funny that both him and Pat Robertson reside in Virginia and both have their own colleges to teach kids the value of their racist opinions.

Back when they had their problems were being ridiculed for having an air conditioned doghouse Falwell came to them and told them if they sign everything over to him he would give it back after their scandals blew over. He then did what we all expect a greedy fat racist to do in that situation and kept it. I can at least have empathy for tammy faye baker. She's by all means a weirdo but she's not a bigot and she's not so filled with hatred that she's incapable of accomplishing anything good.

He did score the whole 700club thing from the Bakkers - stepped in to be an interim minister, and then ran with it.

Someone posted that it was too bad he didn't kick while boning a hooker, or with a nose fulla yayo. That would have been one hellava good end.

Tammy has been thru alot - I hope that her pain ends soon, and not thru dying. She's obviously got lousy taste in men, but I do think her faith is pure.

And the thing about the wild children at the religious colleges makes me howl. We have an expression here about no kids being worse than PK's (preachers kids).
