Congo Fem - Grow / Smoke Report

Congo Fem - Grow / Smoke Report

I LOVE ACE Seeds!!!...On to Congo.....

I popped [1] Congo Fem seed last year, And I have harvested the congo [3] times already.....clones of the [1] feminized seed. Congo clones well, and is done in around 9 weeks or so...depending on how DONE you want it. It will grow different ways depending on where you take the clone from. I had a couple of "BUSHY" clones and a couple of " Tall STICK 1 big bud " clones. This is a great strain for EVERY DAY!!! Not too heavy..

On to the latest real-time smoke report....Firing up the VAPE!!!!....:kos:

The smell of the bud: It smells like fresh strawberries that are not too ripe. Sort of a light strawberry smell...It is not extremely smelly when out in the open....If it were on the table, it would probably not be noticed from the smell....

The vapor taste like a very light strawberry/powdered candy taste...but not sweet.....un-sweet strawberry....very smooth.....mild vapor.....now I'm starting to fill the vapor internally dancing around, knocking on the bedroom doors of my sleeping senses .... sayin .....: Get Y'all Azzzzz Up!!".....

Some of 'dem got day azzzzzzzzzz up.....and now they are all sitting at a table......vapin...on.....CONGO.......!!!

Ace Seeds.......is the standard!!!......enough said!!!!

---> I also hit the fem Congo with my male TanBD!!!!

Love to hear it justabluez :) Pleased to know you like Congo so much and that your mother remains permanently in your grows!

It's indeed a very easy to grow strain, very versatile (for both: SOG or SCROG), fast flowering, vigorous, manageable size, lovely positive Congo sativa effect with great colors and forest fruits terpenes from PCK. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Thanks Dubi. Now at 9 weeks. Full plant pic, she's about 100cm or 3ft4ish. She is green, I just forgot to turn off the red diodes on my LED. I did a lot of bondage when she was young and she got too close to the light, hence the top looks odd; I had to bend it.
Only the main stem fan leaves have been removed; they were larger than my hand. Organic mix that I make myself.
Bit of a shitty pic. I will try and get a close up bud pic before I harvest, which should be a couple of weeks by the look.
Looking forward to having the Congo high back in my life. She smells divine.

Last Congo pic before harvest. I will probably harvest in the next week or two as she's pretty much done. It will be a bit over 10 weeks of flower. I have grown her before but this pheno seems much more sativa dominant than my previous ones.

Lovely results Chi13  Great yield, branching and flowers. It's easy to spot the more Congolese/less PCK phenos in this hybrid. Looks like she will finish soon, just ripening her last reflowering.

Thanks Dubi. The last Congo I grew had much wider leaves, was purple, and the buds were rounded with no foxtails. It was grown under the same conditions as this one. I can't wait to try this pheno.

I do agree that it will probably yield well. There's a lot on the other side of the plant that you can't see. Getting her to branch was difficult. She does not want to branch.:spanky: I did persistent brutal training. She always sprung straight back but did eventually develop good branches as you can see.

After looking at the pic again I will probably let it go 11 weeks rather than 10.

dubi, I was wondering what is the genetic makeup of the current Congo fem and which PCK mother is used. Is it something like (Bangi Congo x Congo #3) x Old Purple PCK elite 2002 reversed? Thanks :)

Hi :) my quick and photo-less feedback on the Congo...

Popped 3 feminized seeds I had as freebies. I've veg them for 3 weeks in 1 gallon pots, then 3 other weeks in 4 gallon pots, using mainlining as training. One of the plants was a grower from the very start, the other two not so much (even maybe kind of weak until moving in the big pots).

At some point I decided to throw on the of the two smaller, ending with two differents phenos :
* One giant with very dark leaves, huge lateral branching and massive but airy colas ;
* One more regular sized with small, resinous, hard and very pungent flowers.
Stretch was strong but managable, both plants ending around 5 ft. First pheno was the longest to mature (around 10 weeks), ending with indecently big colas which would have break the branches for sure ; the other one (around 8 weeks) finishing with average yield.

Taste was similar on both plants, only a lot more pungent on the second one ; the breeder is absolutely right on the description when speaking about rose and wild berries, which I found to be quite obvious to smell.

High is really clear, energetic and mood enhancing, going to almost feverish/exciting at higher dosage. I didn't experience paranoïa and was able to keep up working on demanding tasks, for extended periods of time, without suffering of tiredness or confusion. There again, I found the two phenos to be almost identical, except for the second one being stronger.

TLDR; easy to grow, all-day-long pot to keep you up and running on the most rainy day. Fantastic work ACE :good:

Excellent user128 ;) Glad you are pleased with the outcome and energetic effects of your Congos. Very happy to receive such positive feedback from growers and accurate results with our strain descriptions. Did you find any colorful plant ? Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us!

Wowza gocha1900! What a beauty :dance013: Obviously a more PCK pheno. Hope you are enjoying there!

Hi Dubi :) no I can't say I did, nothing as colourful as Gocha1900 is showing us anyway. Some of the flower on the biggest plant had very dark, almost purple areas but that's mostly it

thanks dubi , first time growing aces strains , zamdelica(reg), panama(reg), congo (fem) :gaga: congo looks and smell very yummy , growing in small pot, but fortunately i have clone veging and after smoke , will decide keep mother or not)) :plant grow:

here we have 42 ° latitude, weather is ok yet, few times was frost but girls lookg good. i tried for first time zam and pan, cuted at 23th nov ,but i think it was early , aslo it need more curing ))) indoor i have , zam-3, pan-2, congo-1, under sodium and UFO.going wait before 15% amber, then i can make smoke report )) in aut now maturing zam. clones , will wait before weathers go very cold(mid. dec-late dec.)

want to ask , you say that panama standart will matured late oct and zam late nov.
zam- flowering started at early sep.
pan-started midle sep.
growers mentioned that ZAM. need ~16 week before harvest and PAN. need 13 week. they maturing in aoutdoor faster, or?:gaga:

Hi gocha1900,

The flowering times stated in our strain descriptions are accurate for 37ºN latitude, Zamaldelica and Panama start to flower here in the second half of August. If you are growing outdoors in a northern latitude then plants will start to flower and will finish later than the stated flowering times. Also, regular versions of our strains usually finish a bit later than feminized version of the same strain, this is especially true for Zamaldelica, which regular version was bred towards to more tropical longer flowering expressions while the fem version was bred towards much more earlier ripening.
