iff youve got your pot sitting in the water get tham the hell outa there...water till you get a small amount of runoff.... dont let you plants sit in standing water (there drowning= the roots need to breath)..this is just over watering which meny people think you cant do it with coco well you can, this is one way of doing it ....
you dont have to water coco everynight, water when your plants need it . this might be every second/third night,

for example a small plant in a big pot wont need waterd every night , but a tree in the same pot will,,,,use the pot lifting technique to tell when thay need waterd...

keep ya head up bro ,,weve all made an ass of things somewhere down the line. am sure thay will come good

keep it green

Well techinically 6ml is 1.2 tsp but I round it off to 1 tsp so i'm actually using 5/10 formula I suppose.

I don't always put micro in first. Sometiems micro, then bloom .. and sometiems bloom then micro. Didn't think it mattered. I then pH the water if need but usually don't have to adjsut it after the nutes are added to the water. I fill 1 gallon jugs with water by the way. no res. all hand watered.

I went 2-3 weeks with watering straight tap that i thought was 6 pH but in reality it was around 7. That could of been the problem

However, when the plants medium gets too cold it doesn't uptake water and nutrients as much, from what i hear. In my case I been watering every day when my plants aren't uptaking as much therefore I have a bunch of water/nutes just sitting in the medium.. if that's the case.

i respect all yalls opinions and appreciate them. I'm sure the problem is a combination of all posted.
If I may interject again for some things to consider.
5/10 or 6/9 might not sound like that big of a deal. Its only 1 mill either way.........right?
Here is an example:
If I did a 6/9 ratio I would get 240 mills of Micro and 360 mills of bloom in a 40 gallon rez. (I flood my coco in hydro). When the normal Lucas Formula calls for 200 micro / 400 Bloom for my set up (for 5/10) at the recommended full strength ppm of 1300. That makes a 6/9 ratio 40 mills to high on the Micro and 40 mills to low on the Bloom. To be 40 mills off high or low is off by a mile in my garden.

You MUST mix the Micro in first and stir it well before the bloom every time (as stated by 10K). If you don't, you get a nutrient lockout. (see my first post) Not trying to bag on ya here, Just trying to help ya out. Like I said, we share the same set up and its working for me so it should work for you. You just need to bring all environmental conditions in line and make em yur bitch.

Again, Good luck with it. They'll come back.

and your wet cold soil STAYS wetter longer. But I certainly am NO coco expert so as I say....this is only my guess and the others who answered DO have experience in coco so I'm not trying to diss anyone. I could be wrong......I am.....alot.

That's just how they look to me though.

Good luck!

thanks.

ya i have 10% runoff everytime and the pots arent actually sitting in water, but i'm guessing if the plants arent drinknig so much then i may be gettign salt build up or something. I should probably water less for now. Just flushed'em really well with plain water at 6 pH

good point on how 6/9 could be way off from 5/10

have you had a look to see if there root bound ? (maybe this is why there not drinking as much).. like you say sitting in water for a small time that could be built up with salt wouldnt help aswell .but youve sorted that part with the flush so forget about salt now lol...

Well then NO WONDER your shits messed up.

I don't beleive that is the only cause as it started doing it when i used an old bottle of foxfarm and then thinknig my pH was good... but i'm sure it has been adding to the problem and i'm glad i learned... thanks a lot folks

New growth is coming in just fine allready since i flushed with pH 6 and got my temps stable.

I think I must be blessed, because I use a 1 part nute in veg and NEVER CHECK MY PH.
(sorry for shouting there...)

My plants have yet to complain. The only dialing I had to do, was to use 1 and a half tsp fertilizer instead of 3 teaspoons as it indicates on the label.

++++++ edit ++++++

ok, my plants are far from perfect - mostly P defs showing, the tips curling up and dying off, but I blame that on the fertilizer....
