Wouldn't it be cool to have a forum just for the commercial weed growers? Keeping the home growers and commercial cannabis growers separate would limit a lot of confusion. There's a big difference between the two and I see a few pros getting put off by the home growers and home growers getting put off by the pros.

What we need to do is, and what has always set ICMAG apart, nip the bad info in the bud. Go over to trollitup and it's just kids insulting each other. Passing way off base info as gospel then hurling insults when someone calls them out on it.

As far as commercial and homegrown it's all the same dude, just some have a bigger home. It's all homegrown.

If I was a commercial grower, I wouldn´t show my grows here. Because why would I? I´m not doing it as a hobby, or for the love, I´m trying to get paid.
Most members here grow their own, and put time and effort in to perfecting their thing. They wont buy my commercial weed, or say nice thing about me and my grow and how awesome we are.
They´d prolly tell me that my 20,000 plant grow, while impressive in size, looks lame, and bulk, and generic, and overfertilized, and the strain I picked was so-so yield heavy regular ass hybrid stuff that they wrote a bad review about back when OG-strain guide was still online twenty years ago.

And then they would boo me. Well not me because I´m totally awesome and cool, but let´s pretend I´m not. I´m just a commercial grower who came here for an ego boost. But got a bunch of old hippies and weirdos and thing calling me out for ruining landrace strains or something..

And it would happen, maybe not on the 1st day and maybe not exactly like that. But soon and pretty close.

Then I would cry. Then take a money bath.

Then join Instagram and have approved messages from selected followers only, who see nothing wrong with my generic bulk weed. Some of them might pay for it.

BadTicket , the scenario you present is for the general forums. If it's a group of professionals, I would expect behaviors to be professional. Telling the group where I get salts, how I mix nutrients, share a schedule, increase bag appeal, or anything else, won't lower my sales one iota. And taking someone's advice might raise my sales, without impacting anyone's sales either. I don't expect Canopy, Aurora, or Tilray to share proprietary info, but a Master Grower's input from one of those companies would help without it affecting their sales either.

Any Cats trying to mark their territory should be Neutered and put out to the curb. Let them play in the general forums.

What BadTicket said might have some truth to it - but is really a point in favor of a new forum for the commercial growers, if anything.

And, while there might be some haters, surely a lot home growers would also find the information fascinating. Just might not be able to contribute so much.

in german forums the mere suspicion of a commercial cultivation is enough to be banned.

The general opinion is that commercial growers put secret dangerous chemicals into their plants for great results. Others, especially "we" homwgrowers, swear by the fact that their own grass would of course be worlds more potent, healthier and tastier ... welcome to the land of the blablablas of the world of myths.

Well, hopefully things will change for the better next year when you legalize (congrats in advance!).

that is legalization for the wrong motive ... they only want to earn money with us. petrol, as the strongest tax collector, will continue to decline over the next few years. cannabis comes in handy!

but what will happen. there will be licenses for cultivation ... which only the rich and corporations can afford.
the sale should take place in a controlled manner. speak with an identity card and note the amount drawn ... and the sale goes through pharmacies and a few licensed partners.

up to now, cannabis has tended to be anchored in financially weak society. has filled many financial holes in this group. it will not be good to legally reserve these income opportunities for this class of society. you will probably continue to work illegally ... and presumably after the legalization in most federal states for illegal cannabis transactions these will be punished more severely than now.

With the current plans of the federal republic, i am assuming that crime will increase.

I'm pretty sure we Germans will make the worst of it ... sure

Commercial Legal or Commercial BM ?? This is where the big difference is IMO. Home hobby growers shouldn't have the same issues as commercial growers.. Im in the small scale commercial BM side. Anything legal is all screwed up, most cant afford to get in on the legal side.. 90% of everything I grow is for breeding projects.
