Yeah you'd probably see the larvae, they're small but definitely visible. They look like little alligators
This comes to show everyday you learn something on here. I had those in my kitchen garden and I had lacewings as well and lots of other benneficials (half the garden was bee/butterfly flower mix sowed all arounf the small garden).
I never put them togheter tho, cause i had lots of long insects besides lacewing. Now I know for sure those were lacewing larvae. Any idee if their eggs are grouped in a circular shape under leaves? White colour if I remeber well? I had lots of those and I feel those might be related to the lacewings as well.
