I don't work for comcast but I work for another cable company with at least 3 guys that used to work for comcast. Probably at least 80% of cable technicians around here smoke weed. Many are high when they hook up your cable. One I know is scared to climb tall poles unless he smokes first.

Just keep the obvious stuff away like any grower with common sense should. I've heard big mouth techs talking about the exact address where he saw some pot plants in the backyard, so if you leave anything for chance you don't know what you could be getting yourself into or who will hear about it.

If the attic entrance is in your grow room be prepared to say he cant go in there and will have to cancel the job till you clear out that room. That's not too likely though. Even more unlikely is that they might want to look behind a cable wall plate in that room if they are having signal problems elsewhere.

Don't you have the option of having it mailed to you instead??? That's what Verizon did for us, mailed us the DSL shitola. Very easy to self-install....

Dunno about you, but our DSL was so damn easy to install, I didn't even need to read (much less follow) the directions. Skimmed 'em when I was done to make sure I'd done everything properly, but didn't have a problem winging it at all.
