have issues with panama seed germination - no germination but good germination with Malawi x Panama - also looks like Nepale Jam might no germination either
Dude, some plants are weird, when playing with wild gear its best to put them in sterilized moist sand and put them in the freezer for a month, then the fridge for 2-3 it seems like a mission to do, but it works, just kinda forget about them in the fridge and when you start out another grow bam, you have a ton of seedlings, hope this helps!

I just uppotted my nanan bouclou from Colorado Sativas today. I had some insect damage but I think that is over now. Plants are doing well. I’m seeing some different phenos coming out.

These plants are doing well. I had some watering issues but these were ok. I selected these two for flower soon and uppotted . Two very different phenotypes. I like the thin leafed plant.

It was very low I don't remember exactly but I think something like 5 out of 21 germinated I managed to kill the 5 though. I would try the cross with beasty boy and ask for the pure one free 😉
Sounds like my luck (only 5 sprouting and me killing them).
Doc D has some interesting crosses. I missed his sdxa5t but I'm hoping he has more and I think he's back stateside but figuring himself out. Hopefully sooner than later, not that I'm in the seed market right now...
Have you grown anything from doc d?

@EnjoyingLife No not yet I got my eye on those though the nigerian raffiki nigeran haze x a5 haze thai bx and zang! The Vietnam black to a5haze Thai bx
I think Colorado sativa's has zang.
I know I just saw it as a recent addition some where but forget where.
It caught my eye as did nigerian haze.
I think I decided against them as im trying to stay away from dutch influence but who knows...
there was a financial aspect also, only had enough for two or three packs and choose bandaid haze(based on reviews) and Santa Cruz Pure Haze crossed Nepali Watermelon Hashplant. I would have liked this one pure but I've read good things about the Nepali so figured I'd give it a go. He sent wat pho as a freebie. I like that there's ssh in but I can't really find any info on Williams wonder. I have a CBD version of mango haze I'll cross it with and I'll probs hit katsus sour and the CBD version of sd I have.

I’m loving this plant! Beautiful thin leaves, lots of branching. She’s taking her sweet time flowering. Can’t wait to enjoy her buds,

Blondie, all of Gerry’s stuff is unworked F2s which is why you get more variability. He ended up admitting that to me because F1s sell better than F2s. There is some interesting stuff for sure but there’s a lot of pitfalls with such practices.

Yes I am well aware. I wasnt aware he was claiming to sell f1s and really don’t pay attention to such things. The thought never crossed my mind honestly. Obviously if he grows f1s and makes seeds from them then they can’t be f1s again. Just because one breeder worked for particular traits doesn’t mean other phenos are bad. I like variability and having different phenos to vape. I just wrapped up a grow of a popular strain. Altogether I grew five plants and didn’t have the same pheno on one of them. These were f1s . I also think many of the popular strains are not f1s... to each their own.

I like your attitude. How is the Nanou?

This very sativa expression is a beast of a plant. Moved her into her new spot, 4x4 now with a mars led. She’s taking most of the tent now. Reminds me of a red snake I grew. Pistils and bud growth has been slow. This one is going to go a while looks like.

Oh man this plant is just large. Wide and tall growing like what I would picture a wild sativa. One other small tall thin plant next to it but other than that 4x4 area is hers. Just an amazing expression in my opinion. I’m looking forward to the harvest. So far the plant is in excellent health. She’s loving my soil mix. I hope its charged enough for the duration.

Been a while. Sadly my monster sativa got a case of very bad spider mites. It’s not doing well. Not real happy as this is such a sativa pheno. But good news is two other phenos are doing well and should finish in a couple weeks I’m guessing. I Don’t know what to make of this plant. Fat donkey dick colas look great. This plant just looks unique to me. The smell is unremarkable. Small hint of burnt rubber very roughly speaking.

So this is my first post here dealing with my own plants I believe. I may have posted a few when I first joined but I dont think so.
This post is about Aces Panama but Colorado sativas was the shop I got it from, it was a freebie when I grabbed destroyer and nanan (spelling?).

It was a two plant grow both females(reg seeds), both got the pink/fuchsia pistils one more so than the other.
The one with less color had a real funky smell to it at some point during growth and I maybe I should have harvested then as Ive read one can use that as a guide(when a plant all of a sudden changes smell) for harvest but I waited. The funky smell was like rotten/composting fruit but not in a nasty way just like damn thats funky.

The plant with less color produced heavier looking buds and had a coffee smell in the jar a couple days back.
The more colorful plant had a berry smell that same day but they mostly smell the same - lemon candy and incense. The plant with more color has a brighter smell than the less colorful, I wish I had a better descriptor but I dont. I could have swore I smelled something metallic in both jars this am but when I smelled again in the afternoon it was gone.

When I went to weigh it I found out I need a new scale so I dont have any weights. I got a 16 oz mason jar plus a bit of each (ofc there is space between the buds) The pics I am posting are not in any sort of order but I will label them what they are for some clarity. The buds could look better but caterpillars harassed me this season.

Less color structure. The plant with less color had good branching but it was tighter (closer to the plant) than the more colored plant.

More color trimmed. Its all one pile vs separated as I hadnt decided how I wanted to jar it yet. The plant with less color in the previous post in this state was separated into small buds, smaller buds and big buds as I wanted the biggest buds on the bottom of the jar for length of cure purposes. They both got jarred like this I just hadnt realized itd be easier to do it as I trimmed vs doing it as I jarred.

This is a lazy mans journal I suppose but here it is and my camera isnt great nor do I have the most steady hands so the picture quality suffers. I am willing to try again but obv all I can do is bud shots as the plants are harvested.

Smoke report wise - Ive only smoked the plant with less color so far and it wasnt fully dry nor cured so I am sure itll change with time but a third of a medium sized joint had me feeling the effects for 3 - 4 hours. I vape 80 - 90% thc carts daily anywhere from 1 - 4 times daily, expect for the two days off in a row I have - I only drink on those days (only one blinker each time as Im typically at work) so my tolerance isnt low but I wouldnt say its high either.
Taste wise its hard for me to discern because of the smoke flavor being so overpowering but it wasnt like it tasted like shit.
Effects were mostly clear headed, uplifting - thinking was easier and while my thoughts were a little racy I wouldnt say it interfered as I could quiet them and focus better than I can when I am not high, good mood inducing. When it started to wear off it got dreamy, laid back, relaxed, almost lazy but I didnt have to force myself to do things and sleep came easy when I laid down.

Killer job friend you kicked ass on this one. Thanks for sharing your plants with us and keep us posted on the next ones.

Damn looks like the guy is knocking off Aces genetics.

One thing to note is in the "about" section on his website it says he calls the next generation made with males and females an s1. So by making the next filial generation with regular seeds it is not an s1. That will be confusing for some I'm sure and I would expect more from a seed seller.

I agree with Dubi, guy doesn't look to have much growing skill and has a weird way of describing the crosses he is knocking off.

Also doing all those crosses in an "open air" greenhouse is going to lead to pollen contamination no matter how careful you are.

At least the seeds are cheap I guess.
