Wow I left for a few days and all of the freaky freaky's came out of the wood work to profess their relentless intolerance and single-mindedness. Everyone chill and toke a bowl, if you don't have one pm me and I'll smoke you up but you will have to guess if its hydro or organic lol.

GeneticsGoneMad - Go pound sand. No one here wants to see another not-so-subliminal-commercial post.

I saw that NugJug deleted his original offending post. Thanks for showing some manners. Looks like you got burned enough by everyone else, I'll spare you my commentary.

Putting a sticker or stamp or seal of approval on bud is trivial. I know that when I take my products to most dispensaries the first thing they do is rename it. Then they throw it on the keif screen. Then it goes into a jar for selling. I don't even give them names anymore. When they ask me what it's called I just say "you'll think of something" and they do. I don't trust them when they say this is ak or this is diesel. Shit I have seen bud tenders fill multiple jars with the same bud so they have the appearance of a large selection. When I go to buy bud (that's pretty rare these days) I let the bud to the talking not the bud tender. Lots of people go in and ask "whats the top top stuff?" or "whats your best product?" and the bud tender looks them strait in the face and says "nothing beats (insert bullshit here)" They pull a jar off the shelf and show you. Then weigh you out a bag of it and wave goodbye with a shit eating grin on their face cause you just purchased what ever crap they were trying to move fast.

The point is dispensaries and those leeches from the emerald triangle (the ones that were banished to co) will tell you anything and use any gimmick they can conger up to get your gold into their pockets. They are like car salesmen but with fake plastic rasta flags. You always gotta watch them to see if they try to put their thumb on the scale.

Grapefruit? No doubt?

Mine are grown with synthetics... Pepsi challenge? It wouldn't be much of a hassle to set aside a few grams for me, would it?

I'll come by your dispensary and buy the grams. Then Rednick and I will have a smoke-out and do a report when mine are ready. No bias, lol. You even get a massive head start with the cure. Mine are only on day 27.

Word well I'll pm you when it's done curing we're cutting it down today at week 10. You use DWC? Already know mine will taste better..but we'll see. Hard to not be bias when testing one's own pot though right?:sasmokin:

I find it is about relationships for me.
Knowing that the dispensaries I go to are going to have some level of Ethics and Morals when providing medicine.

can we start calling Colorado the Emerald rectangle?

Perfect! LOL!! Like I said in your rep, you may have very well coined a new term! :D K+ my brotha, have a good one! :tiphat:

Wow. The bolded text above shows you have already made up your mind. I've smoked both awesome synthetic-nute grown herb, and shitty organic herb, and vice-versa. It all comes down to the skill of the grower IMHO. I'm not gonna knock anyones skill, but don't count your chickens before they're hatched.

This will be interesting, but.... A better test would be the same cut, grown in each of your respective mediums/styles. Maybe with enough herb for a larger judging panel? ;)

Lets call denver the emerald city and just change the name of colorado to "oz" lol.

Haha, it does seem to be where the yellow brick road heads to for many! My beloved home state has become quite popular! :tiphat:

I love this place too. Calli, Amsterdam, and BC have got nothing on us. I can't imagine a better place to be right now. Oregon is nice too but Co is my home.

I love it, just changed my location.

I'm not saying mine will taste better, I'd just like to do a friendly comparison to prove that any method can produce tasty, potent buds.

I use coco and actually the base ingredients in my nutrient are organic(guano/kelp/alfalfa/potash). Then I supplement with synthetic salts and bloom boosters. Also I understand the advantage of an active micro herd, so I regularly reintroduce Azotobacter vinelandii and Clostridium pasteurianum.

When my plants get synthetic boosters, I notice an almost immediate explosion in flowering. When I introduce beneficial's, I notice an almost as quick improvement in the health of the plants. I find that there is an advantage to both techniques.

Do you know which Grapefruit cutting you have?

welcome.
how are the winters at 8000?
i have property at 9600 that im thinking about building on. i was told "you better like winter" if you live anywhere other than the standard front range towns. :)

Wow.. go away for a few days and the gloves have come off!

I'm on the shady side of a valley so winter sticks around. Still a few patches of snow. And yes, the front range cities have a much milder winter than even just ten miles west. Sunny side of my valley can see spring conditions a month earlier.

You got that right about the slope differences... Also, wind can make or break your comfort level.. at that elevation, it may blow fiercely at a constant pace. Hard to keep plastic lawn furniture around. Garbage cans with street #'s on them. But, I guess it's where you're at.

I only had marginal success even with Lowrider 2 outside on my property. Nice for people looking to escape the city heat, but a flowering plant's nightmare.

[Author's note to self] Find a spot this year in the sun.

Enjoy the spring!
