I have seen the video of the buy with the green face should i just follow his instructions and build it like his?

Fuck no...I don't know where that green monkey is from, but that is not the way to do it in Colorado.

Don't lessen your space by building unnecessary walls and ceilings. Work with what you have. Learn to maintain furnace and water heater yourself. Basic home maintanence is a very valuable skill to develop.
Look for low profile windows that can be used for exhaust/intake. You don't want to be exhausting street side, right?
Figure out how much space you want to dedicate to the grow.
Remember,(if rooms are in circuit) veg room first then flower room. Vice versa and you will be cussing.

When you post pictures, you may want to start a new thread to get better assesment.

Edit: Yeah that guy is a fool, I don't listen to what he has to say. 1st off, you don't want them side by side if you have the room to put them at opposite ends for two reasons; bugs and other crap will be distanced that much more from your two rooms, and it will leave you room to expand the flower, should you decide to. It will not stress the plant anymore to go 2 ft or 20ft for transplanting.

If you want to be smarter than me, make a list, check it twice...find out for your budget who's naughty or nice.

Or if you want to be like me, a kid in a candy store, just go into the Hydro Shop with a fistful of cash buying all that looks 'interesting'.:wallbash:

I have been researching what i want for about 2 months did a WHOLE lot of reading and thats when i finally came up with what i currently want. The tent was still in question but after today im set on my Setup. I have been to alot of Local Hydro stores but the light i found online seems to be the cheapest. My budget is 900 or lower and my final Price with Light,Ventilation, and my Home made Bubbleponic system was around 540 total. So i still have plenty of room to play around with my budget just for me it was a mater of choosing the BEST THINGS. Ive heard alot of good things about Sun System 2 But i cant seem to find one that is HPS/MH switchable. So the one im going with is Easy Cool 6" since HTG has so many upgrades you can get with your light choice (Reflector, 2 Free Bulbs one HPS one MH, Volt change, Light hanger, warrenty etc etc) IVE HEARD A BACKUP LIGHT IS A MUST NOTHING WORSE THEN BEING MID BLOOM AND YOU LIGHT GOES OUT AND U HAVE TO WAIT OR GO BUY A EXPENSIVE ONE FROM A GROW STORE
As far as my list i got it out of one of the Post 420 Mags

That should be all i need correct if anything else i need to add let me know i still have 20 days so i wanna get my order list ready to be shipped first day i move

Dude...check into Panda Film for your walls...I use it with my E&G and it works great. Less than $40 for a sheet 12x48. It's black on one side and white on the other...really makes it easy to split a space or to create rooms...

on your 240 v 120 dilema...it does not matter which way you go as far as expense is concerned. The power company measures "Kilowatts Used"...either voltage a kilowatt is a kilowatt. Amps are also amps...some ballasts use less amps on the 240 side, so you can put more lights per circuit, but what you need to watch is the amps used and the gauge wiring you have. I have 2 30AMP breakers dedicated to my E&G and 1 30AMP and 1 20AMP at my soil grow, and on both I am using 10 gauge wire...better safe than sorry....no fires for me!!!

I did alot of research regarding 240 v 120 and decided, for my space....it didn't make sense to wire in 240 outlets.

Unless you were a new patient or in the industry directly it really wasn't geared to your average marijuana user. Lots of dispensaries trying to market themselves, only saw about 5-10 real reputable shops there. Kinda was disappointed in the lack of the grow aspect of the industry. I was hoping for some reps of nutrient companies to be there, at least canna and AN. I guess I could have looked a little more in depth but that's what I gathered from it in the 2 hours I was there. Definitely a lot of potential in the future for events like this I feel, I was expecting more LEO presence...odd

I agree, the vendors I liked were the guys selling the shipping container all in one grow ops, and the trimpro exhibit.I talked to the owner of trimpro for about half an hour and he is a really nice guy. I wish they could do a live demo so I could see the end result. I'd buy one if they werent so rough on the buds. He said that the smaller units allow you to be as careful as you want.??? I'll say one thing. Trimming for 10 hours a day for a week straight sucks BAD.

Man their biggest unit, mows through 25 pounds an hour :yoinks:

Some good advice right there. I wish somebody had taught me that when I started. I spent my entire first year growing getting zapped every time I touched the chains in my veg room with damp hands.

Well that is cool, I didn't think about that.

I mean't that if your veg is 24/0 or 18/6 and your flower is 12/12, if you have to wait for your bloom lights to come on, you are missing out on extra time to work on your veg.

I normally run separate electrical circuits to all of my rooms/appliances.

i hadnt heard that.
they specifically said no medicine on premises.

Hotsause-420-
i use a tent mainly because i like that it is portable/collapsible. that may come in handy if your in a rental.

as for the super sun 2, it will take both hps and mh.
i use one and have swapped bulbs a few times now with now problem.

if you are on a budget, you might want to use soil, all the up front costs with hydro (nutes, meter, etc) make it alot more expensive.
good luck.

I am renting but for a year till i find my dream home. My basement is large enough to the point i think if anybody had to do any maintenance or anything they wouldn't notice my grow area. Does anybody have any Reviews on the EASY COOL 6?

Were the trimming machines next to the tumblers, pollinators, or brick presses?

What other items were they promoting to DECREASE the quality of our medicine?

Those trimming machines mangle the herb, not really worth it if you ask me, unless you've got a bunch of outdoor to trim..
