But Whatever. How my mom going in my room and then not shutting the door behind her is my fault is beyond me. How i neglected to do anything - WHILE I WAS A SLEEP MIND YOU - is far beyond my comprehension. I always thought when someone fucks up, its their fault. Not the person who owns the shit's fault.

This forum is about growing in CO. Err maybe you should train the cat to protect the weed plants. Or eat the cat with noodles and stir-fry sauce. I am a vegetarian so the first option would be my advice.

I once had a cat that ate my clones. You know what I did? I stopped letting my cat into my grow area and trained her not to go in there. I think letting your animals into your garden is a bad idea because they can carry all sorts of little critters with them from house plants or outdoors, or eat your plants. If you have a stubborn cat, your best bet is to cat proof your grow area so that the cat can't get into it while your not watching.

I'm not trying to get down on you Err, but lets forget about those comments and stay on topic.

I own a Bengal cat and, because of this as well as other reasons, I have a change of clothes at my grows...as well as an area to change in. This keeps the hair/critters out that try to "hitchhike" in.

I have to agree with MacGyver420 I forgot about the hair. I have also been told not to smoke around plants. Is there some reasoning to this or is it just blowing smoke?

I never smoke in a room I grow in...why do I go thru all the crap I go thru to disinfect a room for my girls, only to smoke in it. Have you ever washed walls in a place that has been smoked in? It's pretty disgusting...and I DO smoke.

I believe most of the "plant screaming theory" is just the sound of the plants vascular system being disrupted; air under pressure leaked out.
I don't eat meat either and I just don't see how plants would have a central nervous system to conduct 'pain.' Never learned that in Botany/Hort.

Smoking in your growroom:
I don't see how the combustion of plant material would be in any way beneficial for your ladies.
Probably not going to be a huge issue, but let's keep it clean and not form bad habits.

Man...just talked to a buddy of mine...he's buying a 45ft semi trailer and putting it on his property to grow in...he got it for less than $2k. Seems to me that it would be perfect especially for CO2...since it would be fairly easy to seal...only 2 doors...the back and one side. He has the property too, away from people... I'm just worried about the heat! LOL he says he's buying a reefer unit for it...figures if a reefer unit can keep meat frozen, it should keep the trailer cool...anyone ever done this? He figures 10x45x 12 ft high, he could do 40 plants and have room to veg/clone.

I smoke a blunt in my veg room twice a day on average. A lot of the time I blow smoke right on the plants(not intentionally, just because I'm looking at em) and I can confidently say that there is no negative effect on the plants.

Since burning plant matter releases CO2, it is probably even beneficial to smoke in your grow room.
