Hey Smurph,
I have been seeing your clones on CL for quite a bit, its nice to actually see a picture since they look sooo delicious. Way to go, keep up the good breeding. I have some clone onlys as well if you are interested in trading.
Trading is something i'm really only comfortable doing with people I've known for a long time, whose gardens I know, etc, but please feel free to drop me a PM or reply to my CL ad :)
Good Meds on Federal and 285 has the fire.
And a reputation for using Eagle 20 in late flower.

hate to be the one to tell you, but that aint GDP. not by a long shot. looks pretty though!
I love it when people look at a photo of a plant and decide what it is based on examples of plants that were presented to them previously as "the true version" of something.

All I can say, is smoke it, and then tell me it's not Bay Area GDP. I grew up in California, near Sacramento, and have tasted some amazing things, Blue Dot, every regional OG, ATF that was actually grown in Alaska, and of course, old school true GDP, if this isn't "THE" cut, it's as close as exists in Denver. It's not the fruity knockoff most people know that's more than likely a Purple Urkle clone or hybrid, its deep sweet licorice smell reminds me of of anise and acai.

boom, been thinking about that feeze drier for a while now, glad to see that it works. Over the summer was telling my buddy who makes some of the finest water hash in town about it as he was bitching it was too warm out to properly sieve his hash.
Yep. I have another batch in there right now going for the first freeze. For the large microns I use a standard mesh strainer and that material is a bitch to work with. As you get to the smaller microns I use a strainer with a finer mesh and it breaks up like dust like it should. I always detect the slight bit of moisture after the first freeze which is why I run it through the 2nd time in the freeze dryer after the material has been sieved and presto:dance013:

Cool story, bit still is not it. And if you think I can't or anyone else with real experience, identify a very distinct clone only you are wrong. But its cool that you are passing out fake cuts for money though.

This is where it becomes a grey area. You can't simply say it's not true GDP. To my knowledge there are multiple cuts of GDP going around. Some better than others. Whose to say that the one you are referring to is better? Also, some people prefer having an awesome GDP cut over no cut at all, even if it's not the "true" cut you are referring to. I guy named goldhill runs a different cut of GDP than the one you are referring to and it supposedly tested at 25% thc. I'm sure there are people who would pay for that cut.

Again, it's a grey area and its nothing to be hostile over. It would be different if he was selling gg4 s1's as gg4 or caliconn gsc as forum cookies.

Good to know that "Good Meds" uses Eagle20 late in flower. How do you know SopperSmurph. Didnt LivWell dispensary just get caught using it?

Livwell is just the company in the news, many dispensaries had flowers test positive for pesticide residue, I know about Good Meds using Eagle 20 in flower to keep PM away because I know people working in the Good Meds garden, attending industry events and just talking to people about their jobs and their gardens will actually tell you about a lot that never appears in the papers.

On the GDP subject, Buck, this community isn't a "cool story" community, it's not your typical internet community, and insisting your opinion can't possibly by wrong is the quickest way to get your opinion ignored, I learned this the hard way back in 2011 arguing with Old Pink about low strike seeds.

Is my cut the first GDP that ever existed, passed from hand to hand carefully until it reached me? I have no idea. But it's definitely not a generic, Urkle crossed, fruity piece of jarbait like 9/10 GDP cuts currently circulating the market.

Now accuse me of passing fake cuts again, and please, do it to my face, my fliers are available at Grofax on Colfax.

Here's BOG smoking my Smurphberry Jam at the 2014 Denver Cup, just to insert some positivity back into this.

I gotta say, for being the first place in the world to fully legalize weed and for being a bunch of growers there we sure do bicker a lot more than we share positivities with each other. I don't think I've even seen a picture in a long time here.

Just my thoughts
Keep it classy :huggg:

I was just thinking that so I put some positive pictures in my last post, lol.

Yeah I 2nd that! Curious minds would like to know!
Yep BOG approved pic because it was properly anonymized, if you zoom in he's been pixelated, twice, was extra careful about that pic.

I have seen unedited pics of him online, UNCOOL!!!!

He enjoyed my Smurphberry Jam, I was so happy! He took three big tokes from my bubbler, commenting that he could taste that it was definitely from a blueberry line because of the complex flavor, he also said that it was a bit too potent for him, because he'd been on the road for several days and not smoking that much

BOG inspired me to breed in the first place, I wanted to create things I loved, the way BOG created things he loved, becoming known as the "bubblegum breeder" back in the day. In some far off future, with a lot of time and effort and dedication, I hope to be known as the Smurph breeder, the man who takes classics and Smurphs them up with a little Smurphy twist :greenstars:
