That may sound stupid but combined with the church ladies website it got pot shops thrown out of Grand Junction.
I give this to her...the young girl with the big ol black bong was a stroke of marketing genius. Made me laugh but apparently had the right effect on dads of teenage girls..
don't take the campaign lightly...fight it with actual facts.
I think they're about 15-20 years late on that one.

We live just outside city limits so I can't even vote on it
I have watched them shut down all the shops in Windsor and Loveland since we have been back
I personally don't use the shops
but there are many who actually need them

AURORA - A man says he got much more than a large pizza when he called Papa John's for delivery - he got a visit from Aurora Police.
The man was smoking medical marijuana just before the pizza arrived on Friday evening. The delivery driver smelled the marijuana and called the cops. The Papa John's employee, who was not identified, was concerned because the customer's 9-year-old daughter was in the house.
Officers performed a child welfare check and left without filing any charges.
The man who ordered the pizza, Frederick Smith, contacted 9NEWS because he says he was targeted for doing something that's perfectly legal in Colorado.
"I wanted to be able to use medical marijuana and not feel harassed," Smith said.
Smith has a medical marijuana card. He says a doctor prescribed the drug for chronic pain he suffered in a bicycle accident.
"It is daily pain relief for me. I smoked some medical marijuana to relieve by knee pain," Smith said.
Smith says his 9-year-old-daughter was in the bathroom and insists he never uses the drug in front of her.
After smoking a bowl, Smith ordered a pizza from Papa John's. Their meal was interrupted minutes later by what he describes as "a very loud banging" at the door. It was Aurora police.
"A pizza guy had actually called in the complaint," Smith said.
The delivery man said there was a strong smell of marijuana and a young child in the house.
"I was definitely not smoking marijuana in front of my children, which is what he said he saw," Smith said.
Smith says Aurora Police searched the house and left. He called Papa John's to complain and also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Smith says Papa John's never even apologized.
"I'm going to try and bring a case of slander against them," Smith said.
9NEWS Legal Analyst Scott Robinson says the pizza company is not liable because the driver actions are not part of his job description.
"I can understand his outrage but he's not going to get anywhere trying to sue Papa John's," Robinson said.
Robinson says, even though medical marijuana is legal in Colorado, people who smoke it are still breaking federal law. Robinson says a jury would likely find that the Papa John's employee was justified in calling the police.
"He was acting as a private citizen in notifying the authorities. Anyone who calls the police is almost surely immune from any lawsuit," Robinson said.
Papa John's representatives and the delivery driver declined to speak on camera to 9NEWS. They did send the following statement:
"Papa John's of Colorado wants to stand behind the decision that this delivery driver made. He was acting as a concerned citizen and for what he believes was the best interests of our community."
Smith insists what happened to him was wrong.

Need some input!
Just finished building my new room. Wondering what scrubber you guys have had most experience with? All I have used in the past is the DIY scrubber. The room will house 9 bushes under 4x 1000w. The room is 10'x10'x7.5'.
I am going to run super sun 2 reflectors and probably will stick with galaxy ballasts. I have a window I will be cooling the lights with via either 1 8inch fan or 2x 6"fans depending on the heat.
I will be getting the equipment slowly prob 2 lights at a time so it might take a few months to get it to be fully functional.
Running soil, and thinking about using 20g smart pots this round.

Scrubber wise I have switched over to Phresh filters from Can, much lighter and seem to work just as well.
For what hoods to buy, what kind of footprint are you looking to get from them? If a large footprint like a 5x5 I would use Magnum/Raptor..

+1 to the Phresh filter, While I'm not filtering that big of a grow, I've had mine for a while now and it's still keeping my exhaust smelling like nothing but warm air!

Well the room is 10x10 going to do 2 rows of lights with 2 lights per row. so around 5x5 but I will need a row to access them.
Merlot, was checking out your grow and I love the catch pans you made are they just 2x4s and pond liner. I want to grow in smart pots as well.

Yeah maybe you could do two 4x10 or two 4x8 footprints.. and not have to get such big hoods. It really is overlooked having space to walk around the plants.. sucks when you can't reach a damn thing!
For the trays I just used the 'ole 2x4s and pond liner.. each one is about 5x15. Love it.. don't make any messes that I can't clean up

What do you do about flushing? Do the catch trays provide enough room to leech the plants and you wouldnt want them sucking that back up again right?
ALSO do you think the digital ballasts are worth it? I suppose I could always upgrade later, but I figure if I am just going to buy the lights one at a time then it would be do-able. I have a galaxy 600 and love it. I will also be runnning electricity to the room and will be using 220, ran from an intermatic timer. figuring 4 outlets in each corner of the room for each light.
I have never had a room this big to play with, I have always done smaller rooms. I know its learn as you go but I have time to plan this out while my new batch of girls gets big and bushy.

I let them suck back up normal runoff on a feeding/watering, during flush I will wetvac out the water.
As for the digital ballasts, I have all regular ballasts in flower, so couldn't tell ya. I'm sure someone here has some good input on the digital vs regular ballast topic!

I was just checking out the phresh filters. The website suggests I use the 10 x 24 850 model. SEEMS a little extreme only because a 850 cfm fan is going to be a friggen beast. What sizes are you using and what is the size of the room?
