are you tyeing down to your vert screen or just using it to shape and support?

EDIT ADDITIONAL Q:

looks like grow bags. are you watering them 'just enough' or allowing for some drainage?

how are you collecting the runoff to recirc or toss?

looks nice. I think I'd like to try a vert setup sometime next.

So i have to ask when you have a setup like this do you just do preemptive pest control?
looks like a lot of sliding a round on a skateboard/creeper when tending to all those.
it still looks like quite the daunting task and i can only imagine the Mite or PM battles that could go on...

I'm just using it to shape, I'm taking what I learned on my horizontal scrog and applying it.. I'monly at day seven but I've already had to weave some branches in and out. I've also for the first time supercropped branches at the base of the stem to get them to bend towards the screen.

It's just an experiment this run I have a ton of different strains inthere. Next run is all going to be super stretchy strains so i can fill the screen in proper.

Yes they are smartpots, or roots smartpots. They are sitting in plastic trays and I water toabout 1/2 in runoff.I've gotten good at judging when is exactly enough. I water straight water through for about 20 seconds a plant come back ten minutes later and go over them with nutrients making sure they are soaked. I've only had an overflow once in one of those trays. No runoff collecton. By the next morning the plant has soaked it up anyways.

I highly recommend vertical growing the yields are crazy big!

Thanks, thats a clone, unfortunately we know absolutely nothing about it besides it has really big leaves and seems a little picky about it's conditions. I've seen other PEs I was unimpressed with but I've seen this one flower and it's really good.
