Cut it up, and attach each end to a pvc T with hose clamps. You need to have a little bit of PVC on the T to attach the hose to.You want to get it out toward the edge of the pot a little, but not to close, maybe 2" in. You might want to do it in a short watering first, and then a longer watering to finish. That way the soil can soak it up, instead of running out the side of the pot. But you probably already know that.
Works great, but is prone to salt build up. Their cheap and easy to make though, and if your not using salt ferts trough them, you'll be fine.
You need a pump with a decent amount of pressure to get them to flow evenly. A little giant or similar will be plenty. A sump pump would be good also, but I don't trust them to be sealed up properly.
Hope that gets the wheels turning. Oh yeah, 3/4 T is real tight, 1/2 inch is a little loose, but easily compensated with the hose clamp.
Peace, MB
