Here is the Barneys Farm BlueCheese Feminzied Revegged... at this point i could cut the roots back and transplant.. Im going another week or so then ill take some cuts and make sure she gets whored out... BlueBerry funk for all.

I guess i should clean out my drip tray.. its looking a little worn

I think you can get that plant to reveg faster and more vigorously if you cut off all those buds/bud sites and clean out the bottom a bit.

yeah i do a clean up once i get enough "normal leaves" the new Growth comes right out of the buds and they just dry up.. you can rub them with your fingers later on and they will disintegrate down to the stem.
Once they get to the point i have them out now they are really tough to kill compared to when they first start the re-veg.

in a week or two it will look like a thick bush with many clone sites.

Looks good trip. I unfortunately did not keep a mother of the blue cheese. The smoke is great though! I have only cloned in flower and had clones grow all funny after that, somewhat like the re-veg you have going on. Keep up the good work!

Hey yall! I've been away form this thread for too long. Seeing the pics in this here always makes me feel better after sorting though the politics board. There are truly some top notch growers here. SGmeds and I had a ball at the Rocky Mountain Cannabis Convention this weekend. Did anyone else go?

I just wanted to give notice to everyone that there is an official Colorado Cannabis Cultivators Association meeting on Thursday July 15th in Boulder.

Budbaby check out some of DJ shorts books. He is my favorite grow book author. Also if your looking for good free knowledge look for the archived posts by Three Little Birds (3LB)

I just googled
allot of cannabis data shows up.
do some research, it was easy

I have been doing the research and my understanding is that you want more warm light (red on the spectrum) to promote flowering growth. I guess cool (blue on the spectrum) promotes stem growth and is good for vegging.

I'm just using about a closet sized area to flower two plants in, using cfls and a fluorescent ballast. I guess I'm in the ballpark of at least 6500 lumens, guessing on the low side. Both plants are about 16 inches tall and will have been flowering two weeks on Thursday. One plant is extremely bushy however, about 20" wide.

Tortola is where one of those pictures is. Tortola is great, but I'd stay on St. John, pretty much the entire island is a national park. That = the best snorkeling I've ever done hands down and way less people. It's only a twenty minute ferry ride from st. John to Tortola. Also staying in the BVI is great, but the USVI has more err... "American" standard accomodations.

I must agree with you, Self. St. John is the closest thing to heaven on earth, IMHO. When we went, we stayed in the park, but I believe reservations for that need to be made a year or two in advance of the travel period. To date, that was my favorite vacation, by far.

Be prepared to be bored. I will come back later with some tedious newbie questions for you experienced folks.

Thanks and healthy green hugs to all,
Budbaby

Growing classes?

Growing classes?

ha, im a noob and still learning myself.
i wonder if any dispensaries offer any 'learn to grow' services.

Thanks for the tip, Kelly. It brought in some good responses, too! I asked, yesterday at my caregiver/dispensary... and also asked if they sell seeds. They don't and they won't. I can respect that, especially after all they've saved me, over the months, and how well they have supported my health. Gee, I feel so guilty now for having asked. They take good care of me, and they saved me a couple hundred dollars, while I was there.

I will ask people at more places in the area. In the meantime, I have a few little plants, growing like WEED. Thanks to everyone for responding to my questions.

Peat won't clog my drip system?

Peat won't clog my drip system?

You should be able to directly transplant the pots into the hydroton. When I transplant, I like to use Mycorrhizae, you can get it commercially at your local hydro store. I believe the GH product is called Sub-M. Basically just dredge the root zone of the peat pot before you transplant into the hydroton. Make sure not to transplant to deep, as that could cause problems like rot. Top feed for the first few days until the roots dig to the bottom of your basket and you should be green:D

ETA: this is my 420th post, smoke weed!!!

Congratulations!!! I did! Are you saying that I should just put the Jiffy pots into the hydroton? That idea evokes an unpleasant vision of a reservoir full of aging peat moss sediment and clogged drip tubing. Maybe I misunderstood, or am I being overly concerned? If that's what you meant, should any peat be cut away prior to planting?

Also, something I read has me confused. Evidently, fertilizer is as detrimental to plants as are antibiotics to us. It seems that any fertilizer is going to destroy mycorrhizae, which, from more reading, sounds negative. Please, anyone....enhance what I've learned from my studying so that it will make sense to me.

Thank you all for being who you are.

Okay, I have poked around everywhere I can think looking... where can I find 3LB's archived posts? Dee-de-dee!!! It's time to go for a little ride....be good.

can't speak for cannagirl, but i have a feeling that's exactly what she is saying. rooting cubes are pretty universal...whether your preference is oasis, rockwool, rapid rooters, jiffy pots, whatever it is, they can all be transplanted into any medium. jsut make sure you have roots and then support the youngin after you do transplant.

Maybe I misunderstood, or am I being overly concerned?

you're a noob, of course you are overly concerned (but that's ok). that's not a putdown...it's just the way it is. you''ll settle down as you get more comfy.

no. the jiffy pot is just a medium for the cut. the hydroton is a medium for the plant, don't worry about mixing. just make sure you have strong, healthy roots before you transplant into whatever your next medium.

sorry that i couldn't find the link (help) there is a lot of discussion on ic about mycorrhizae. specifically, there is a thread speaking to the effect of using chemys in your res with mycorr.

breathe budbaby.

lots of folks willing to help, but clear, consise questions would be helpful. and congrats on the strides you are making with the quotes.

Whew! Thank you for your words. Thank you for being patient with me. Often, I don't understand the questions I'm asking...I'm almost thoroughly saturated with information...and until it all settles. I'm not going to make lots of sense. Your help is making my babies smile. Thank you so much!

What's the name of the thread?
Colorado Grower's Thread!!!!!!!

My new grow, day 2 out of the Ez-cloner, gonna flip em real soon, we have 12 Bubba 47 and 12 ECSD, loaded in the Undercurrent, nutrient temps been at 63 degrees (I am in love with my 1/2 HP Chiller) Trashbag lightproofing was amazingly easy, wish I would have discovered that technique years ago.

These were taken on Saturday.....

UCDay2.jpg

My cuts come out of the Ez-cloner pretty small, but with the rapid growth of this system that's okay, they'll still be 4 ft. when they're done.

Less than 48 hrs and they "rooted through" the gro-rocks....

SPLEEFMAN! looking good man! looks like a good healthy start! K to you

Ok so I haven't had to send any info into the CDHPE for a while but I need to send my wifes information in.

What do I need again? 90$ to CDHPE and a copy of the MMJ paperwork? Copy of an ID as well, correct?

I also remember that I had to send it certified mail.

Does all this sound correct?
I want to get it done asap.
