any of you Colorado boys know where a brother can pick up a piece of land out there for cheap? ...i'm looking for semi-remote, meaning no infrastructure, just guaranteed road access, ...i hope to build an earthship where i will generate my own power and grow my own food, permaculture style.

How do you feel about snow and wind? :D

35 acres for around 20$k... if you find the right plot, the road is plowed in the winter. :)

10,000 feet up in the colorado rockies. Just look for park county. LOL

good question Hammerhead, I was hoping to just put the Cannabis next to the 'maters in the veggie garden.

Would a locked gate suffice?

We may see the development of "Cannabis cages" made of chain link fence.

Outside is preferred but worse case scenario I've got a little green house window inside with Southern exposure that would work nicely.

I'm trying to live an 02+ lifestyle so running grow lights is not an option.

CO Sunshine fucking rocks!

thanks for the response man and what you describe is kinda what i've been looking at, actually, more the scrub land near the NM border is what i've been finding at the sites i've been to, down by Alamosa County and Costilla County.

frankly, i'd kinda like something in the foothills with trees on the slope and open land lower down, ...any chance you have links i could look at?

The downside up here is the 3 month outdoor growing season. It's already snowed several times and been below freezing at night for weeks.

Just look for land in park county. Plenty of sites with info on it. :) Have fun. :D

3 plants, 12 lights... What would be the veg time on that to balance out the massive use of lights?

Essentially, with 3 or fewer plants being allowed in flower... yeah, the trend toward more lights per plant is a no-brainer. What I'm looking for is what folks would find to have a yield that justifies the power usage and time involved. Eh?

Yeah, that'll be secure as hell...

A lock on a greenhouse...

Obviously the legislators have been the beneficiaries of some exceptionally potent Colorado weed.

"Dude...What are we gonna do? We can't get in to rip this guy. There's a lock on this 5 mil plastic door."

"Aw fuck it. let's go home."
