Any Coffee Lovers out there? I recently developed a new fondness for coffee and was curious if any of you guys love it...
How do you like yours? beans, light, dark, cream, sugar?
Or maybe everybody hates it. :joint:

yeah man i love coffee... not sure what I would do without it anymore.

As far as roast goes, it all depends on my mood. I tend to try as much different types as possible instead of just sticking with one.

Normally i'll go with a dark roast in the morning and then some flavored lighter roasts later on.

Always with cream, not always with sugar though. Sometimes a little is ok, I hate when people make it sweet as hell.

I always buy whole beans and freeze them, then grind them right before brewing.

Favorite brand is green mountain coffee.

hahha i found it funny how your user name is insomniac and you made a coffee thread.
i myself love a good cup... but i try not to have it as much as i like (i personally don't feel its a healthy enough thing to drink so much as people do).
i think it'd be really really cool to try many fine coffees though... i mean, when i first started smoking i never had a clue there were so many unique differences in each strain, so coffee must be like that too variety wise.

Coffee is not usually thought of as health food, but a number of recent studies suggest that it can be a highly beneficial drink. Researchers have found strong evidence that coffee reduces the risk of several serious ailments, including diabetes, heart disease and cirrhosis of the liver.

I think alot of new medical research shows coffee and tea as very healthy. :chin:
maybe the dreaded marijuanna will be the next to be recognized. :joint:

I like just some good ol' regular ground coffee beans, but run through the filter twice to make it stronger.
A shot of half and half, 3 sugar cubes (Yeah, I love sugar cubes) and 1 ice cube because I hate waiting for the coffee to cool down.

... maybe some kalua too! :yoinks: :yummy:

Well than, it's not really about the coffee at all, is it? It's about the amount of sugar you personally put in it, right?

I roast my own, I have a commerical espresso machine in my home and a half dozen different presses and my vacuum brewer. I have at the moment about 15lbs of unroasted green beans.

...yeah I love coffee! But I only drink perhaps 4-5 double shots a week

i go with the dark roast organic, then sugar in the raw(little more expensive but worth it) and a tiny bit of plain 2% milk. coffee is a wonderful thing.

I like my coffee in a TIMMYS cup, but must have the warning label reminding me that the coffee is hot because sometimes I like to spill it in my lap then try and sue the coffee company for not telling me my fresh brewed coffee was hot. Damn that still makes me shake my head that someone could win a lawsuit based on no warning label on cup.

But back to the question,TIM HORTONS, LARGE 2 CREAM , 1 SUGAR. usually about 2-3 times a day.

I will sit infront of the c-24 and smoke a left hand twist and sip a TIMMYS while I admire the herbs grown and just chill while enjoying my 2 of mother natures finer past times.

Yeah Vape, I know what ya mean by sippycup. I'm a foolish coffee drinker. I have a bad habit of putting hot paper cups between my legs while driving...1 Time I was 1 of 4 men crammed into the front of a pickup..headed to work. We hit a big chuck hole the road and I dropped my cup in my lap. I am so glad God puts drainage ditches on the sides of my junk.

You roast your own! :) That would be a lot of fun....but smelly, haha.

I myself am a coffee lover, and have been drinking the stuff for about 5 years now. In fact I love coffee crisp, coffee cake, and anything else with the flavour.

Would you believe that I've had a $160 cup of coffee once? About two years ago I worked for a coffee shop and brought in a guy who had been to Indonesia to hunt out the "Kope Luwak". These beans have literally been passed through the digestive system of monkeys (although it's more cat-like). This animal instinctively eats the rippest and reddest coffee beans (coffee beans nest in a cherry), and their digestive tracts remove a lot of the acidity. The result is a VERY smooth cup of coffee.

Pretty crazy!

JC

p.s. I like it black
