Coco vs Soil, Organic vs Non-Organic

I have been an organic soil grower now for 2 years and have never ran more than 2-1k watt flowering room. I have had some good success and am not wanting to change but am going to give it a shot. My setup-----

3.2k Watts= 2k watts, 2-600 watts.
CO2 Injection at 1500ppm
None Organic Nutrients= Advanced Nutrients(Sensi Bloom A+B, Bud Candy, Overdrive, Big Bud, Gravity)
Organic Nutrients=Roots Organic/Foxfarm

Im going to be doing a comparison between Organic and Non-Organic with COCO(Atami) and soil(Fox Farm Organic). I did not want to get the AN since Im not a big fan of power house businesses and like to stick with the smaller companies that no one has tried. I got it because I had 2500 store credit from a job I did for them and decided to try it out. So on with the show.

The strains I'm going to be using are Island Sweet skunk and Some Durban poision. I have had great yields with the ISS because to me it seems like it can handle the nutrients. The DP I have burnt on the same amount of nutrients with the same feeding schedule on all of them.

I hope everyone enjoys and I will update as soon as I can. Here are a few pics of the setup an everything.

Seems this thread should bring out the good, bad, and the ugly. Lets see how it ends at the finish line.

Im about to transplant my clones into the coco and soil when I noticed I dont have any clones of DP that I didnt already transplant into soil. But I do have some Brainstorm and mango I can do along with the ISS.

Im back and I have transplanted some Electric Avenue Clones in the media on August 17. I have have used any nutrients in the clones that are in the soil. I have however used 2ml of the Sensi grow in the Coco. And the recommended parts of the General hydroponics Grow into the other coco. So it goes.......

All non organic feedings will be with Advanced Nutrients only.
Soil Non Organic---
Coco Non Organic---

All Organic feedings will with a mixture or Roots Organic and General organics.
Coco Organic---
Soil Organic---

I tried to take the best looking clones. From my opinion and speculation the Advanced Nutrients has already started making one of these clones start vegging. But then again I also think that the coco has a big part to do with since the ones in soil are smaller and I havent seen much out of them. Here are some pictures.

Don't forget I am a big organics guy. I really wanted to see what all the hype was and Im hoping the Organics does best. That being said after all is said and done, I don't smoke any more and I am going to rely on a few patients to help determine the best taste, Bag appeal and weight per plant.I hope eveyone enjoys and I look forward to this post and keeping everyone updated.

good idea for a side x side kushy- can't wait to get my camera dialed in like your pix.. how do you like the a/c hoods? i tried a/c hoods before with 600's but it didn't make too much diff, do you think you loose much light thru the glass?

In my environment, I love them. I was running temps at 94Degrees day/ 72Night. AC hoods with a big fan is dialed in. I dont run over 79Degrees day/ 67Night. Screw Nutrients and all other factors the main factor is the environment. Dial it in.

I think I read about maybe losing 5% of your light throught the glass!? Correct me if im wrong. Im not worried about 5% when im keeping the tempts low which possibly produce maybe 10% for quality environment and dialing in all the little stuff. Everything factors in and I thing the 5% is not a bad thinjg to lose to gain more.

Cool thread, can't wait to see the end results. I did some similar runs in my 8KW grow, AN Sensi always won.

That said, your room will make much better use of the CO2 at 85* instead of 79*, the stomata on the leaves aren't open enough at 79 for them to get the full benefit of CO2. Also, the PPM's don't need to exceed 1000 PPM, pot just can't digest more than that according to some research by some members smarter than I! ;)
