still it's a great funkion to have, it means you can give them less light whe you first plant them for a day or two and slowly go up. also being able to turn it off without unplugging it is cool imo.

bartender187 Hey Buddy, I picked up the MDhydro brand digi ballast and 6" econo cool tube from MDhydro for like 300. I didnt realise it had the little fan for cooling built in, or I woulda went with the lumatek also!

I just wanted to try a brand I havent heard people using, just to give some feedback on it. with the dimmer and all seemed like a cool option, but to tell you the truth, its been up max the whole time! lol

bergerbuddy you know that VBSxak47 was amazing! But she didnt color up until about week 9, and went like 10 weeks + and still could have gone longer! I didnt keep her around due to my xcessive smoking requirements, I need a bit of a faster turn around! :joint: lol

btw Crystals were nice and smoke was good!

Sleepy Duuude! TYVM!

Indica Sativa Thanks for the wake up call! :moon: lol

Well that would suck. "Windows has generated an error and overferted you grow. Send a report: Y/N?"

xtra did anyone ever give you the help you were looking for in the begining of the thread?

I am finding feeding to be my biggest challenge. You have very beautiful plants and are definately doing it right. I was wondering if you can tell me what and how you feed. Do you just grow in bags with the coco? I couldnt quite tell and if you posted it, sorry I missed it.

Thnaks to you, you helped encourage getting that new cam. Congrats on POTY too. That was my second favorite shot. Sorry I had to give my vote to esben and it was a very hard decision. But way to go!

Whats up damakkus, u know handwatering 20 - 2 gallon bags, all cramed in to about 2x4, sitting on the floor... is no easy task! lol

In other words I dont grow perfect plants, but they do produce some nice buds...

I actually started keeping track of feedings... by going into outlook on my pc and printing out the 3 months and keeping notes... nute strength, additives, etc...

Ive been feeding everyother day or every 3 day max... or the coco dries out too much! I also make sure to water with plain ph adjusted once or twice a week... (I've overferted a few cuts and couldnt afford to lose any more!)
so I think I been going a bit too lite, leaves are lgiht green to yellow on the bottoms of the plants in flower, but I rather go light than to heavy, and toss another run!

thanks for the compliments, if I can help out in anyway feel free to post or PM me!
oh and btw, I used hydroton (clay pebbles) to line the bottom of the bags, then filled with coco and a few handfuls of hydroton in the coco...
the smaller the cup, pot, or gro bag, the faster they will dry out...
I had the best results in 4 gallons but thats alot of coco and hydroton...

.
What brand coco is this? And how is it to deal with?
.

I am jumping into the coco soon too and was concerned about the texture of the stuff and possibly running out of the pots due to I run a flood and drain. So I was chatting with timtim and nandro that I should use the Bcuzz brand because its texture. I purchased to 50 liter bags and I am going to use the stuff with my Strawberry Diesels that are just about done cloning.

You mentioned earlier too there were learning curves with the coco. Any recomendations as I am looking forward to these Strawberry Diesels and want them to be all they can be type thing.

hi gaiusmarius thank you buddy!
I think the only way I would do less medium then 2 gals, would be if I had a res and automated watering...
But with this type of coco, that is really fine, Im sure I'd be dealing with lines clogging, and wouldnt be worth the investemnt at this time.

damakkus this is the GeneralHydroponics compressed brick.
It needs to be soaked in 1 to 1-1/2 gals of water, and fills about 2 gal grow bag...

For a Flood & Drain system I wouln't use this, TimTim and Nandro are right...
Like I mentioned to gm, it so fine it can get messy...
I have coco dust all over the house! lol
once the top layer dries out its easliy blown around by fans... so I hope my local shop gets with the program soon, and orders something other than these GH Bricks!

YO VT! thanks bro!
Nice to have all you Coco Nutz pass by...

Brah welcome!
We needed some popcorn too! :woohoo:

I got backed up with pics... so here are a few from last week.

look at the SD Ibls on the right! :yoinks:
