Heavy Duty Fruity I expect. Not sure who carries right now, but I bet a quick visit to seedbay might be in order.

Yeah...I'm using Canna Coco AB but looking to change to an inexpensive dry nutrient formula. I'm going to try a little known nutrient manufactured by American Hydroponics. It's called GroMagnon & Big Bang Bloom. Maybe some of you NPK experts can take a look and provide some opinion. Canna works great, but I'm tired of paying $100 for some watery mixture that probably cost them $1.

Check it out:

Nice plant. Your 1 month veg time gives me hope. I'm about to shelve the bato buckets drop down to 10 plants. I think I've settled on going with straight coco in 20 gallon brutes doubled up and run DTW. I can't wait to get this setup. What did you use for your drain fittings on your bucket, bulkheads or those grommit things?

Thanx Dedhed....My tap is only <200 ppm. If it were over 300 then you should consider a 50/50 mix imo. Coco is easy to please, but when I ran Aeroflos' for some reason RO water always resulted in problems regardless of the additives.

Long long ago I would tell the old man who owned the hydro shop: "but there is calcium in the tap water", and he would say "calcium is good", and I would say "but there is chlorine in the tap water", and he would say, "chlorine is good", etc.,etc. And that's how it went. He was right and I was young.

Bucket in a bucket......Drill a bunch of drain holes in a 5 gallon bucket and then stack it inside another 5 gallon bucket that has the drain lines attached to it. Pretty simple.

So Clowntown,, Everyone who makes coco specific nutrients reduce the "K" since coco retains potassium yet they will then all sell a PK booster!! I don't get it, or is the reduced K only for veg?

Good question. Many nute companies use the same set of additives for a different line of base nutes. For example in Canna's case, you see the same PK13/14 being used for their line of products including Aqua, Terra, and Coco.

Aqua Flores A+B is 4-4-10
Coco A+B is 4-4-3
Terra Flores is 2-2-4

Anyone with a good understanding of this stuff wanna chime in?
