Hey bonecarver and vend, what a great terace you have.

what a great grow thread you guys have going here. it's great to see you use the coco outdoors. seems like you have some great trichome coverage. i bet you'll be very happy with the results. 7 hours of direct sun light is still plenty, i have done balcony grows in summer with no more then 6 or 7 hours of direct light. but yeah it will probably slow down a bit in winter, but i see no reason why you can't keep on as long as there is no frost eh?

thanx for the kind words from both of us (we are having an early test smoke of the early SSH x PTK today )

we will definetly give winter grow a try but at the same time we are looking for an even better place for the grow some countryside house instead of the suburbs

the early pheno of the SSH x PTK is not really ready yet - its still got 2 weeks or more left to go but - its got us very nicelly hammered the taste is a lot sweeter than indoors - but the buds seem to be getting even harder than ever cant beat the old sun it seems

How does compare the PTK hyb to the pure PTK? :wink:

i think i kind of understood that question wrong before it depends wich cross u are talking about :

the SSH x PTK is close to the original ptk tate and high - but with a sativa-ish growth rate and branching - the flavour is influenced by the SSH with a spicy and acidic touch to the aroma. the taste is a bit more complex - the high early in the harvet window is really rushing and up high - later it melows out a bit with more couchlock. growing it is a nice experience - i like it a lot

i think u will find it actually as a bigger sister of the PTK i hope u get posibility to try to grow the phenos

the SCBB/PTK x PTK is a very short indica - but its definetly weaker than the PTK of yours but its stil la good smoke - tasty and nice high and a very good producer as long as it gets alot of veg - if not its a massive basebollbat bud kind it would maybe be good to cross it with an other good yilding and strong indica maybe to get the growthrate and yeild up.

today vend found a bud with some kind of insect attack - he cut it and later we checked it out together - it was some kind of tunnel thru some of the parts of the bud - it was better to cut it of because these things get into mold when rain hits it..

the clean part of the bud gave us 5 grams to share to smoke

top class ... much mroe potent than the last run indoors during the summer - nice to see the genetics are still in there - we are so happy with this first coco hydro attempt outdoors

those are some very nice looking updates bonecarver, looks like you have quite some plants that will be ready soon. i wonder how my WW or the SDv3 would do on that patio? i can believe it straight away that it was more potant from out doors. you can't beat the sun, lol.

strange about that worm tunneling into that bud. hope there are no more of them?

i bet ur WW and SD would do realy well here - hard to imagina anything doing anything but their best in these conditions - its so strong the sun - and with the canna nutes

the early nugs we are smoking is rocking our socks of

there is many caterpillars of butterflies and similar that eat flowers - and they love juicy buds we are lucky vend is on the patio most of the day checking them out for intruders and such

back after my visit

we cut some bud today - it turned out about 10 when dry we are only cutting taters from the smalest one.. very very tasty and nice loong high

just cant get enough of the SSH x PTK pheno C ( the early) suchs a nice hybrid

first of two bud pics of the crosses from holygong !! they are just entering flowering - we will transplant them to big pots and see .. they smell good . a lot of variety bud tasty looking and nice smell this early - lots of trichs too lets see if we reveg a mom from the astrofog

a bug! dont know if its a predator or what,, dont seem to eat leaf anyway!

the plastic fabric on the photos is for making the fence not see thru - but there is an other plastic thats used when there is rain its a home made - pull-out system that runs on kabels hand pulled obviously
